Anyone know what type of bug this is? Found these in my dogs food (purina pro plan salmon with probiotics)

My dog has been refusing to eat his food on/off the past few weeks, especially this whole week. I’ve been worried because this boy loves to eat. He started throwing up Wednesday night and several times Thursday morning. I gave him a small amount of his kibble this morning, then went to give him another small amount (like 1/4 cup) after he held down the first bit.

When I was about to pour the second scoop into his food, I noticed a piece of kibble looked odd and found the picture below. I went through some more of his food and found several pieces of kibble with these dried, webbed, larvae. He only has about 1/5 of a 30 lb bag left, so I have been so stressed/guilty about him possibly eating a lot of these, which is probably why he’s been so picky lately.

Anyone know what these larvae are?

Docs for PMDD?

Does anyone have any recs for docs regarding PMDD? I told my gyno last year I think I have it and she dismissed it. It’s been getting a lot worse and I need help managing it, but can’t really find much info online about docs that know more about it.

I have BCBS and would like to go through insurance

Looking for new (preferable female) PCP

So my doc who I’ve been seeing for years left her current office and the office never let me know. Her new clinic is now Complete Concierge Care which charges a $2500 (like girl wtf!!!!) annual fee 😭😭😭 to see her.

Anybody have any recs for awesome PCPs? She was incredible and would really take the time to listen to my concerns and would order whatever test I inquired about. She helped me find several issues multiple other docs dismissed and I’m gonna miss her ☹️

The Odyssey is messed up at Gallery Place Chinatown fyi

For anyone watching The Odyssey at gallery place chinatown theater 14, the projector flickers horribly whenever there is white/blue/light colors. Throughout the entire movie anytime there was the sky, sand, or a light background, the screen constantly flickered. It was nauseating and gave me a headache.

People were upset and several went to complain. It’s been happening since the first showing and they still haven’t fixed it. The movie is phenomenal and at $30 a ticket, highly recommend going elsewhere if you can

Also there are no previews!! Many people missed the beginning of the movie (including myself oops) as we didn’t know there were no trailers before the movie. It will start exactly on time, so get there early!

TSA at SJU JetBlue is insane right now

Just to sum up: get to the airport more than 2.5 hours early!! if you have an afternoon JetBlue flight. Otherwise you’ll miss it and be charged like I was 😭 and possibly have a grump agent

Arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes before my flight and missed it because of TSA. I had to skip a bunch of people and sprint to my gate, and doors closed 1 minute before I got there. They only had one person checking IDs and they were doing all precheck, clear, and people needing extra assistance it’s, which is understandable, but they were taking such a slow time for general TSA people. I waited over 5 minutes for my turn after the person had their ID checked in front of me, and the guy kept leaving to go chat with other workers.

The JetBlue desk lady was incredibly rude and told me I should have been more responsible and JetBlue recommends travelers get there 3 hours before their flight at SJU. I pulled up the JetBlue website where it clearly says 2 hours recommended arrival and she got so upset at me and started yelling that I was irresponsible and should’ve taken the initiative to get to my flight earlier?? Honestly fuck that lady. Then she told me I had to pay $75 to be put on the next flight that requires a 6 hour overnight stay at another airport, or $200 for a direct flight the next day.

I’m just ranting because this was such a crazy and frustrating experience and have never had a gate agent be so unnecessarily rude. Also I looked at several posts made here in the last two months and everyone said they go through TSA in 20 minutes, so not sure what the issue was today :(

I’m looking into (hopefully) moving to Seattle between July-September this year. I’ve been applying to the major research hospitals (Swedish, Fred Hutch, UW) but haven’t had any success so far. Does anyone have any experience working at any of these places, or other research orgs in Seattle?

Thanks :)
