Hi there I’m looking at a possible opportunity to work as a pipefitter in north van for seaspan, I’ve I’m a journeyman plumber working mainly concrete high rises.

Just wanted to see if there was anyone who was in my situation who made that switch.

Is pipe fitting easier or harder on the body than commercial construction plumbing ?

My current jobsite now is a 20 minute commute in the morning and 30-40 min commute going home .

Going to seaspan would be 45 minutes in the morning and about 1 hour or more going home , but it’s $11 more per hour as a pipefitter.
