ADC may be the best role to climb thru gold/plat

Mods please dont delete again? I just wanted a discussion on my experience.

tldr: I was a plat 1 87% wr shaco jgl and got bored of same playstyle/gamestate, switched to support - consistent highest or second highest damage on team, dropped to gold 1 50 lp. Just went on a 14 game winstreak playing only adc on adcs I had very low masteries on. Adapted no ff mental and it made a huge difference.

I peaked platinum 1 as a jungle main with years of experience playing shaco and various junglers. I have some sort of mastery on most champs in each role.

Recently I transitioned to support and stayed p1 one game off emerald until I went on a hard descent from playing solo, some times not playing well, Often times being highest or second highest damage player on the team.

I dropped to Gold 1 50 LP from this following a descent to plat 4 0 lp then internet issues causing a remake to make me lose 50 lp and go to gold 1 50 lp.

After this I noticed the game was heavily decided on adc as long as you dont ff. I just went on a 13 game winstreak running cait, senna, seraphine adc. I’ve barely played adc (minus aphelios) before but understand the macro game and lane state from jungle/support perspective.

This has gone to make me believe that adc is the easiest role in the game. I have consistently hard climbed with shaco jgl when i take the game seriously with a 80-90% wr thru plat. Then i get bored of the same shaco jgl gameplay. Believe I never hit my true peak on this role/champ

However I pretty much hit my actual peak playing champs I have very limited mastery on just from playing the adc role. If you want to hard climb thru plat, learn adc, lane states, and macro. Make the right plays, don’t ff. You’ll surprise yourself.

Perhaps I am smurfing from jgl perspective without actually hitting my true peak, but it has never felt easier to win as an adc in this patch if you select champs/comp correctly. I’m not perfect at it, some games I notice I should have done a different champ, but comp and safe play seriously makes a giant difference.

Poileys #1218 on opgg if you wanna fact check this.
