Acura TLX front bumper PPF installed 3 weeks ago tore and lifted with no known impact — normal or poor install?

Had PPF installed on my Acura TLX’s front bumper about 3 weeks ago and just noticed this puncture/tear with the film lifting. The bumper was repainted a few days before the PPF was applied. I found it after parking on a very hot parking garage roof, but I didn’t hear or feel anything hit the car. Does this look like normal impact damage, or could the recent repaint, heat, or quality of the PPF installation be a factor?
