I’ve been using the a20s for close to two years. They finally broke (right earphone stopped working) and I’ll get a refund. The a30s are double the price, any meaningful updates that are worth it? Otherwise I’ll just buy another pair of a20s.

Tenho um termoacumulador instalado há 1 ano. O modelo tem um ânodo eletrónico que nem precisa de ser substituído, e pensei marcar uma revisão só para assegurar que não há muitos sedimentos.
Ora, passei pelo apoio oficial da Bosch. 170€ que querem pela revisão. O termo custou pouco mais de 400€. Compreendo que trabalho especializado não é barato, mas isto parece-me demasiado.
Portanto pergunto a quem possa ajudar:
- Acham um valor aceitável para este serviço ou vale mais procurar uma alternativa?
- Tendo ‘apenas’ um ano de uso, não sei se a dureza água de Lisboa justifica já uma revisão ou melhor esperar pelos 2 anos?

Edit: após ligar novamente para a Bosch consegui um segundo contacto de um outro técnico que me disse que apesar da marca recomendar manutenção anual, pode perfeitamente ser feita de 2 em 2 anos face à pouca dureza da água e características do meu equipamento.

I’m about to have my first Whippet puppy in a couple of months. I tried my best to find a good conscious breeder and they seem extremely nice and knowledgeable. But because I don’t know a lot about the ins and outs of pedigree analysis I wanted to ask if anyone can give me their opinion about the lineage of my future puppy. Anything wrong jumps at you? Anything I abound be concerned about? I’ve been told they come from a very good lineage of champions and overall healthy whippets.

Criei o post por ver outro sobre um cão roer os armários da cozinha. Vou ter um cão pequeno em breve e portanto procuro opiniões e conselhos de donos mais experientes de como evitar ao máximo que estes acidentes aconteçam.
Já comprámos uma jaula (crate) e queremos treinar a dormir lá desde cedo. Também pensei comprar aqueles portões de bebés para a cozinha porque os armários poderão ser um alvo. Rodapés será mais complicado porque existem potenciais alvos por toda a casa. Além de comprar imensos brinquedos l, passeios regulares e talvez aqueles sprays amargos para zonas alvo, mais algum conselho?

I've had Matter (over Thread) working incredibly well over almost a year now. Couple days ago I bought a new Aqara camera with Matter and all hell broke lose. I already have some Aqara cameras but none had Matter until now, and they all have their isolated SSID.
After putting the new Matter cam on that same isolated SSID my Thread network went berserk, multiple devices offline etc. Much trial and error and it seems that I need to have all Thread Border Routers on the same network in order for it to work.
Now my dilema/question: is it possible for Thread Border Routers to exist in different networks and still work, and how to accomplish this? Did I miss something?

I have this “issue” that’s bugging me. As you see my AppleTV 4K is showing with a question mark almost like it’s not working, but:
- I’m signed in
- All is working as expected
- I can control all me devices outside the house/on 5G as usual
- Restarting/fully unplugging didn’t solve it
It’s just that it’s been working as expected for more than a year and I noticed this today. Anyways knows a fix, or should I just leave it alone if all is working?
Boas, tenho um multisplit Mitsubishi com unidade externa MXZ-4F72VF e quatro internas MSZ-LN25VG 9000 BTU, que são A+++ em aquecimento e arrefecimento. Todas as divisões têm entre 10 a 15m2.
Noto que raramente o AC desce dos 300W constantes, apenas com uma unidade interna ligada de cada vez. Isto são valores normais? Facilmente gasto 6kWh em dias mais quentes. Prefiro pagar do que assar, mas queria entender se é um consumo normal.

Need genuine advice on this, as I don’t want to make any rush decisions for me or the dog, appreciate your help in advance.
I’m looking to adopt a dog, initially was focused on a Greyhound/Whippet but found a Pitbull (possibly mixed breed?) in a shelter near me. I kinda fell in love with him from videos and photos but I have no idea if he’ll be a good fit for me and my lifestyle.
I live in an apartment 75sqm (800sq ft) and I work from home and have a huge park 5min away from home, it also has a closed dog park. I’m willing to dedicate up to 2h on week days for walks and I’m super active on weekends and usually do 10k walks already, he’d obviously come with me. I’m willing to incorporate him as a part of my life in all aspects, learn from him, play games and stimulate him mentally as much as possible.
The CRUCIAL thing: I already have an 8yo cat. Being a rescue is really hit or miss for prey drive. I’ll visit him in person tomorrow and ask if he’s been cat tested or if we test him.
What I know about him: I’m not sure why he was abandoned the first time but he already had a second family who returned him after 2 weeks because he had separation anxiety and chewed on a pair of shoes. Clearly wasn’t a good fit. Also not sure how old he is exactly but looks like a 2 year old possibly?

My questions are specific to Spanish Galgos, though I think they share many similarities with Greys and this is a larger Sub to get input. I’m interested in adopting from Galgos Del Sol. I also have an 8 year old cat in the family already, so this is particularly concerning for me and I’m doing as much investigation as possible before committing. Appreciate everyone’s kind help in advance.
I can adopt a pup, teen (1/2yo) or adult. I’m thinking a pup would have the highest success rate in my case, as they would coexist with the cat from as early age, do you agree?
I work from home*, assuming low prey drive, would they be able to coexist peacefully? E.g. I would from my room-turned-office space, could I let them freely around the rest of the house? It’s a small 3 bedroom apartment.
What’s your opinion about leaving them alone? Possible for shorts periods (i.e. up to 1h) or an absolute no-no? And if not, what options do I have as my house is mostly an open space (I can’t split it 50/50). Leave the cat only on my bedroom with litter and food/water? Leave the dog in a XXL crater?
Anyone has experience with GDS for adoptions?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Cheguei hoje de uma semana de férias para a má notícia de que o meu termoacumulador está a pingar água aí dessa zona a vermelho. É mesmo nessa junção/peça preta, não é mais abaixo.
Isto é simples de reparar? É esvaziar o tanque, desmontar e tentar apertar ou tem mais perícia que isso? É na torneira da água fria/de entrada, não sei é info importante.
