I’m soon moving into a new apartment and this the current floor plan with the furniture I would receive.

I need help with placing the existing furniture in a better way and adding new stuff as well.

1. I want to access the bad from both sides. How can I best do that? I tried pivoting the bed like Image 4, but now I have too little space on both sides. But that may be the best way forward.

2. I have a 40” TV so I want to place the sofa closer to the TV. how much closer do I bring it?

3. How would the dining section look like? How big of a table can I manage?

4. I also want a computer desk and a work desk somewhere good. Any ideas?

5. Would it be better to have the sofa next to the balcony like in image 5?

Any recs would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just bought my first ever car. Actually the first car of my whole family. So I’m totally overwhelmed and kinda lost on everything I need to do and know. I will take delivery in 2 days.

It’s a 2018 Volvo V40 T2 - 1.5L Petrol 122HP - Geartronic Automatic - Kinetic trim - 63,000km.

It was used by the Hamburg Police department but I don’t know how exactly. So, it has a perfect service and inspection history. It looks and drives great and I love it!!

What are the things I need to look out for? Are there any known vulnerabilities? Any services or repairs I need to do? I also wish it had a more modern interface, I might retrofit an CarPlay module or get an external dashboard. I also want to make little interior mods like better lights, and so on. Any recommendations? Any and all advice would be appreciated.
