A little problem with XP Pen

Hello!

Just got a new XP Pen Deco Pro gen2, which I am using in my primary program, SAI 1.

For the most part, it works completely fine, and I'm super satisfied with it - pressure works, everything is great.

But occasionally, it's almost as if the pen becomes 'disabled' in the program, being unable to interact with anything in it. This is easily fixed by taking my mouse, clicking out of SAI and back in, and it all works again.

Easy fix, however, extremely annoying when you're in the middle of a work flow.

Has anyone found a more permanent solution to this problem?
Does anyone else even have this problem?

corpse in a deep cave, with no insects - what would the decomposition process be?

what state would a body be in if it was left deep in an underground tunnel (cool but not cold), untouched by insects or any living thing* for, let's say, about 3 months? and what would the blood situation be

the lack of insects to help it decompose at a natural pace makes this a bit hard to research on my own

*to clarify; the lack of animals is a fantasy element

Looking for a word to describe a very specific kind of voice

voice descriptions always eluded me because i'm never sure if the voice i imagine is the voice that a descriptor actually means. i'm not talking about poetic descriptions, but more matter-of-fact words that describe the properties of a voice- raspy, crooning, clear, etc

i'm looking for a word for a very specific kind of voice, the closest example of which i can imagine is the pirate cat from the last unicorn; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pI3oed6YHs&t=78s

this sort of aged, somewhat fried, appropriately cat-like type of voice. what would you call it?

a friend recommended hoarse or gravelly but in my head that's a much harsher, sharper sound, it lacks this dusty, ugly sort of warmth. squawking similarly feels too jarring and loud, lacking the subtlety.

I just got a follow-up email from the person I've been trying to reply to, they misspelled their address. 🤦‍♂️

I tried responding to an email I received only to be met by this automatic response:

>Your message was rejected by the recipient email server. Please check the recipient's email address and try resending your message, or contact the recipient directly. For more tips to help resolve this issue, see DSN code 5.1.0 in Exchange Online - Office 365. If the problem continues, contact your email admin.
The following organization rejected your message: mail.com.

What am I supposed to do?? How do I contact my email admin?

Earlier today I spent 2 hours trying to find a solution to this, running in circles around Microsoft's unhelpful pre-written guides, finally reaching a support chat thanks to a reddit post because I would never figure out how on earth to get there myself, only for the chat to be equally useless.

The recipient in this case does not have me blocked (I even tried emailing with a side email and received the same automated reply), and I don't have them on an auto-complete list, so nothing in the link I was given seems to apply. I don't understand any of this and I feel like the stress is taking years off my life at this point

Hello,

For some time now, I suspect that a lot of my emails end up in people's spam folders. These are not sales language emails, most recently it was me asking for a quote for some shirt printing, and reaching out to an event organizer to ask non-promotional, non-sales questions, all in a very casual tone.

And yet to many of these recent emails to new recipients, I received no reply. I suspect that's because my emails landed in junk, as this has happened before, it's something I started noticing about year ago.

I use a hotmail address, and I like outlook, so I really wouldn't want to be forced to change my email or my service in order to be able to reach out to people.

What can I do to fix this?

Key points:

  • The emails I write are not sales/promotional
  • I don't have a signature
  • The emails are not mass-sent
  • They are sent to new contacts
  • I use a fairly old hotmail address
  • The emails are not written in English
