[REQUEST] How large of a vacuum (the household kind) would you need to suck up Mercury, and what would its rotational speed be?

Question that came up after someone misheard me saying "put mercury in a vacuum" as "put Mercury (the planet) in a vaccum (cleaner)" LOL. Assuming the vacuum somehow works in space (lets just pretend there's air in space now, for convenience's sake), how large of a vacuum cleaner would you need to suck up Mercury like a gigantic dust ball, and how fast would the motor be spinning (in MPH at the edge of the fan blade I guess? Person wasn't clear when they said "what kind of a giant speedy vacuum would you need to do that???")

Has anyone had TPMS issues with 195/55/16s?

Hey all, 2010 Fit Sport here. (No my car Lucy isn't making the post you know what I mean)

Anyway, just got Falken Aklimate 195/55/16's put on, and since my rear passenger valve stem was leaking, my mechanic put in new two piece stems and sensors to replace the all-in-one units. Drove to work today and noticed the TPMS light is on, and a scan confirms that the sensors aren't getting a signal. Could be a fault on his end, but I wanna check first: could swapping tire sizes have impacted my TPMS?

Thought you guys might have fun with this... ;P

Amazing what 10 grams of plastic and a DIY Rubik's Cube kit can get you! Done to my 2010 Fit Sport (NOT permanent lol)

Friends to dating - what would you expect to change?

Me and my GF (both 18) have known each other since childhood and only recently started dating (it's been six months to a year). We were both afraid to broach the subject (hilarious how I hate how common the "two idiots dancing around each other while everyone facepalms" trope is and then ended up living it) but it turned out well!

Anyway, I'm kinda wondering what body language you'd expect to change, given that we've been friends much longer than we've been dating. Personally, I'm tactile AF but don't wanna be weird or make her uncomfortable (a point I've already talked to her about), and we're trying to ease into things, but I'm not sure how much mutual contact to expect.

For example, if I put my arm over her shoulder, should I expect her to do the same (she doesn't usually)? Is scooching closer on the couch to make leg contact weird, since we're used to sitting with space between? I'm usually the one initiating contact: should I be expecting/waiting for her to do so instead??

Not sure what I should attribute to being friends for so long and should just let time adjust, and what's me being weird/too much/overly clingy. Help an awkward BF out lol

2010 Fit Sport - 205/50/16 within $500-600

Looking for tires for my newly purchased 2010 Honda Fit Sport. I wanna stick 205/50/16s on it over the stock 185/55/16s because I want the extra grip and cornering, plus it'll probably look better. Especially since my dad immediately noticed I have the least wide tires of all our cars lol. Anyway, I can do $500-600 for a set of good, long lasting tires that will take Ohio roads and winters. Looking at Falken Ziex ZE950s, but don't know if there's a better option. Prioritizing performance and safety, though good mpgs would be nice. Think that disobeys the triangle though lol. Thoughts?

Also, how badly can I expect the wider tires to mess with my mpg? And should I go for 195/55/16s instead? The difference between the stock rotations per mile is worse than the 205/50s, but they might be more fuel efficient. Anyway I'm rambling now lol

Just bought my first car, a fit as described above. Looking to use her to learn as much DIY auto stuff as I can/as a very mild project car (daily driver), and would love for it to last a long time. What do you all recommend I start with? Ideally I'm looking for maintenance suggestions, then mods/upgrades. I know it needs tires pretty bad, so that'd be a start, if you know of any good budget-esque brands that do well all season with Ohio winters (wouldn't say no to non-OEM tire sizes that look better, provided they won't cause rubbing and won't require new wheels.) Anything I change will be done gradually as I save cash over the summer, so priority goes to time-based maint/mods.
