Just picked up my NS160 Dual ABS but some family talk is really getting to me

So I finally got my hands on the new NS160 dual abs today😋💕 It cost me around 1.68 lakh onroad and honestly am pretty stoked. I spent so much time debating between the 160 and the 200 but I went with the 160 because it just felt like the better more practical choice for my daily needs and my budget. But then my uncle started talking about how Bajaj bikes are essentially just a oneway ticket to spending all my time at the service center and that I will prolly regret the purchase in a couple of years. Now that’s been stuck in my head all day and it’s honestly making me feel pretty anxious about my first big purchase.

I am 18 and definitely not the type to go racing or thrashing the bike, I just want it for cruising around the city. Since I want to make sure I take care of this thing properly i was hoping to hear from people who have actually owned an NS160 for a few years. Is it really that unreliable or is it a solid machine if you just take care of it? Am looking for some honest advice on what I should actually look out for what maintenance tasks are non negotiable and if there’s qanything you wish someone had told you when you were a new owner. I really want to keep this bike running smooth for a long time so any tips would be a huge help. Thanks, guys!

TLDR: Just bought an NS160 but family members are scaring me about long term reliability and constant service center visits. Looking for honest long term ownership advice from actual users on how to keep it running well and what to watch out for as a new rider.

just some visual experiments I did!✨

Hey hi everyone!)) just made some digital visuals online, been experimenting a lot lately and it’s actually been super fun😋 jus post boards type shi🕴️

See 1st pic is blossoms🌸 just liked the softness here

2nd pic is my interpretation for Sikkon ka Nagar by Tang Mizaaji, this song is beautifully insane it literally made me create this(first one I did^_)

3rd pic is inspired by The Art of Creation painting my own little reinterpretation of it😙

4th pic is same piece but with quotes pluss scribbles got kinda CHAOTIC so yeah bonus pic:)) with:-

“Khud ko bhool jau kaise?

Banaya khud ko isse bhaagoon kaise?”

quote’s hard right? has to be😼🤪 from Kaise by Frappe Ash such a lovely song mwahhh🫶

anyway enjoy tho🌸

Almost at the point of results coming out, post boards have been creating a lot of tension lately but yeah we still ball, keep moving forward, keep doing what you love, keep growing as a person. That’s all I would say👊❤️

Went to Jamtara last Saturday and didn’t expect it to be this peaceful actually🦆

Broken bridge, pillars still standing over the water, leaves moving in the breeze, birds swirliing around and a quiet atmosphere that almost felt unreal and Damnn the golden sunlight reflecting off the surface made the place feel like a different world☁️✨

But but but the hot breeze kept snapping me back to reality💢

[PS: The pics are slightly edited to bring them to life, but in reality it was even more serene than what they show🌸]

Not even a single day below 7 hrs max focus🤖 sometimes 9+ 😭🤣 funny right and he says he “deserves a spot coz of his ego” like what?? Being serious for a sec, how is that even possible for so many months for these people? Like I don’t get it even if someone is inflating it what do they even get out of it?

How long does that satisfaction even last?🍂 How could you fake it to yourself for so long?🤦
