Fraud?

I have discovered that a certain Dept in the grocery retail store that I work for is scanning out old product as a donation when it isn’t getting donated. Well, they do donate lots of product, but some stuff cannot be donated as it is not fit to be eaten and is thrown out or it’s decent and they decide to cook it and eat it themselves. I was told they do this to pad their numbers in their department so there is less waste/loss showing on paper. This seems like Fraud to me, not only within the department but also within the company. This is a major food chain. So, is this Fraud? Should I look the other way? I’m kind of leaning towards reporting it, although at this point, I’m not really sure to who.

Raises

Rumor has it managers are getting decent raises this year. Has anyone heard anything about the rest of us? Cost of living raises? anything? Being topped out kind of sucks when you see others with lower scores on their evals getting a bigger raise because they aren’t topped out.

Just in time for prom

Two lovely handmade formal dresses just in time for a prom. They were a donation to the local Playhouse, but the director didn’t want them, so they were free to me. The one on the left reminds me of the 70s. The one on the right I’m not so sure, but here in the south, maybe all that puffy tulle was the norm? Either way they are both handmade by someone whose sewing skills were way above mine.
