Guys just wondering if anybody who applied to Royal Berkshire firefighter apprenticeship has had any response from them. I think the deadline for applicaton was July 22nd or something?? So anybody had a response or perhaps someone knows when a response is due.

Like many people id describe myself as an entrepreneur in algeria. I was looking into owning a farm possibly in a southern wilaya like maybe Laghouat. I have 1.5 billion centims disposable to my name which id like to invest. I have 2 options to either own land outright and equipment outright or to go via the subsidy route of owning a farm. Anyone have any experience or insight they can give me.
Is it worth it doing a subsidy if I dont know someone special working within the relevant department to help me get money. Does such a thing even exist in 2026 of "knowing" someone who can help you. And how far can it go anyway? Like will they fiddle with the numbers and basically give it for free. Im just curious on this one cos I dont know anyone anyways lol.

My friend wants to come and visit Algeria in September or October inchallah and he asked me about renting a car. Anybody know any good car rental services in algiers? Can be either the airport or wherever in Algiers.
Does his age matter? For context hes 22yrs old living in England? Wed both really prefer if its done in his name but I am 24 years old as a last resort if its put for me. But we rather if it is in his name even if he pays more.

In everyone's opinion. What's the most sought after foreign currency in algeria? Dollars? British pounds?? Euros?? I ask cos once I converted my foreign currency and the guy said hed give me a better rate next time if I brought a larger note e.g a $100 instead of $50
I've seen a lot of people recently in this reddit (particularly at the end of 2025 and early months of 2026) interested in buying silver bullions such as coins.
Ifind it to be a really good investment as gold seems to be out of touch of a lot of us common folk kinda leaving silver as the alternative.
There are options available here believe it or not Tho its not as straight forward as itd be in europe.😂😂 As a heads up it won't be enormous quantities probably 10oz or around that ballpark.
