Do you text your MIL on Mother’s Day?
Do you text your MIL on Mother’s Day? And if yes, are you this woman’s DIL or SIL?
My MIL is not local to me, but we do not text ever unless there’s some logistic on a very rare occasion. I leave all matters of communication to my husband but am I a jerk if I don’t text her today? I am her only DIL for what it’s worth.

We’re switching daycares to save money. Close to $1000 a month difference for our two kids. Everyone loves this daycare - it has rave reviews and has been around for decades. Still, I’m so sad to leave our current daycare and routine. I know my kids will be sad (for a while/initially) and I haven’t figured out how to spin it for them. I’m so stressed and nervous about the change and the adjustment period and the inevitable look of abandonment on their faces when I leave them at the new daycare the first several times.
What are your tips to make this easier on everyone?
