I recently bought a Longines HydroConquest while on holiday in Crete. The colour combination I wanted was only available in 42 mm, so I decided to go for it. During the rest of the trip, however, I have started wondering whether it might be slightly too large for my wrist.

It feels good to wear, and in some situations I think it looks absolutely fine. In other angles or photos, though, I sometimes feel that it may look a bit too big.

Do you think I am just overthinking this, or should I try to exchange it for the 39 mm version instead? Also, does anyone have experience with exchanging a watch after the bracelet has already been sized and adjusted? How do retailers usually handle that, especially if the watch is otherwise in new condition?

Just bought my first Longines in Crete. Basically all 39 mm were sold out so I bought the 42 mm. What do you guys think, too big or just right?
