How to escape \n in subtitle?

How to escape \n in subtitle?

I am trying to add subtitle.

The original text is "This is a \n test". But the \n is missing on the video.

I tried \\n \\\n with no luck.

Tried Googling with no luck.

Kdenlive docs mentioned \N, but I am not sure if that is related somehow.

Thank you!

Switching between this reset my editing view settings

Hi.

For some reasons, switching between this reset my view settings.

For example if I hide Clip Monitor, switching to Logging then back to Editing will spawn the Clip Monitor back.

I am not sure what are these for, but is that intended behavior? What if I mistakenly clicking on those?

I am on Arch, KDE Plasma, kdenlive-26.04.3-1

Thank you

Creality K3 series will support rooting?

  1. Is the firmware open? Will developers get expansion support?

Yes. Continuing Creality's commitment to the open-source community, the K3 Series will provide system root access, giving developers, makers, and advanced users the freedom to customize and expand the platform.

Public reminder: Protect your apps. My unprotected qBittorrent instance ended up running a cryptominer.

I host a public qBittorrent instance for my small group of friends. This has been fine for at least a year.
For some reasons, I noticed my server has becoming slow.
After checking, I found a program named `tcrond` running a cryptomining.

Apparently qBittorent could execute command, which I only learned about it today.

If you have unprotected apps, this is a reminder for you.
protect you apps, unless you are 100% they can't do anything dangerous.

Lucky me I am running it inside docker. This could be worst.

Lesson learned

Sofirn Commander HD01

I found this flashlight while searching for one with regular and UV light.

But this flashlight is not listed on their website and pretty much never being mentioned on reddit.

I can see them being sold in my local ecommerce platform, not by the official store though.

Is it a legit flashlight or never existed?

Is quick release fine for motorycle riding?

Hey guys.

I just got my X5 a few days ago and I am currently looking for a setup for motorcycle riding.

May I know if quick release is fine?

I have seen people saying it is fine, but I have also see people had their camera fell off the quick release mount.

Screw looks stronger to me, but people said their camera unscrewed itself from the mount.

Quick release looks practical to me, but screw looks stronger. so, I have to make my mind. Can I use quick release safely for riding? I would just be riding a moped which probably can go like 130km/h (80mph) max.

I will be using a cable to tie my camera ofcourse. Already bought a metal cage for it. Just need to decide on the type of mount. I would be buying an aftermarket brand like Telesin, Ulanzi, aMagisn, etc.

Image attached just for an example.

thanks a lot.

X5 or Osmo 360?

Hi.

I know this question has been asked a lot. But most of the time, the recommendation was made based on the replaceable lens.

What if I can replace the lens by myself? Not to mention that the cost is halved.

Would you still recommend the X5?

One thing left would be the app right? I read that it is much more limited and has less features.

The hardware would win I think? I watched several videos and I like Osmo 360 quality more.

X5 is pricier here, not much, but can be noticeable in my currency. I don"t care about the price though.

Share you thoughts. Thanks!

Any tips to make content in both horizontal and vertical format?

Hey.

I just got my Nano a few days ago.

I never think this through, so how do I make content for Youtube and Facebook which have different video orientation?

Can I record horizontal, then crop to vertical? What would be the best settings for this so I don't lose too much details after cropping?

Any idea or tips? Thank you.
