Tickets for a home final
I don't want to get ahead of myself, but if we do happen to end up with a home final, what are the chances of tickets going on general release? Or will they all be taken through memberships and none available to gen public?

Hi all. I've got tickets to the VIP section at the Gabba. Just wondering how strict the smart casual policy is. Like will I be ok in runners target than shoes, can I wear my Lions jumper etc?
I got told my burgers weren't smash burgers, they looked an inch thick, and looked like frozen patties. Tried to explain that the photo wasn't showing the true picture, but was downvoted.
I know it doesn't matter, this is how I like my burgers, just a bit silly the need to defend ones self on this sub rather than all just enjoying the BS (pun intended)
Nothing really to add, just wanted to share something that wasn't a partially seasoned grill lol
Edit: sorry folks, photo must be very misleading. These are indeed smashed to paper thin, had an amazing crust. Clearly I need to spend less time on the grill and more with the camera.
Lester looked particularly sore, Kai was hobbling at one point, Morris continues to look really uncomfortable with his back and I believe Kiddy will be out with concussion? Do we have any more solid updates at this stage?
So a few years ago, we were claiming family tax benefit with fortnightly payment, unaware as self employed people that our accountant had our income very different to our estimate. We ended up owing about $13,000 which was a big ouch.
To avoid this happening again, we decided to move to lump sum payment at the end of the year. I wasn't aware that there was a 12 month cut off in making a claim for the lump sum - I thought once we elected lump sum, as long as our financials/tax returns were lodged on time, it was done automatically.
Turns out this isn't the case, and now, 8 days past the cut off we can no longer make a claim. What I find frustrating is that they have the info required to make this payment to us - you know for sure if it calculated that we owed them money, it wouldn't be waiting on us to contact them to chase the debt.
Again, the law is the law and it's our own dumb fault for not being more aware, but it sucks just the same. Hopefully this can serve as a reminder/warning for anyone else that might get caught out like us.
Some interesting ideas being put together at this school, I wonder how much of it is the future and how much of it is a publicity stunt to look revolutionary.
We're looking to plan a family getaway and I'm wondering where people are heading these days. Vietnam seems interesting, maybe Thailand? We're a large family with 5 kids aged 4-14 so somewhere with great kids activities would be a plus. The budget I thought was decent at $30k but I'm getting a reality check online.

Would love to know from any big families where you've gone, costs and so on. We also have to do this in School holidays, likely after Christmas so I know that impacts costs too
I have a strong feeling that I'm going to struggle adapting to a CPAP, so I don't really want to spend nearly $2k on a machine. I've seen some budget options around $500, I'm just wondering if there are any major differences the top brands have that these cheaper versions might not provide as a first time user?

Are there any videos someone can point to that are good for explaining and demonstrating a sprint start for a younger audience (think under 10s). Most of the videos I find the language and steps are too complex for this audience
I'm 40+ male that works from home, but with multiple children in multiple sports, my evenings aren't free to join in a usual indoor soccer or other sports team. I can't be alone in this? Whether it's night workers or those with similar commitments, are other people out there wishing there were some more activities during the school hours for grown ups?
If there are and I've missed it, please let me know. I'd love to play some social soccer or something that doesn't interfere with the evening rush.
Not really sure where to post this but not really an AskADr so thought I'd try. About 3 years ago I went an anti depressants. I couldn't tolerate it and it really messed with my head - super foggy, slow responses, not caring etc.
After less than 6 months I came off of it. To this day, I still feel slower, less mentally sharp and less decisive than I was prior to being on them. I've tried researching but most of it seems to take about the long term effects on libido, not the other stuff.
I was just wondering if anyone else out there had a similar experience.
