Did you regret waiting until the baby was born to find out the sex?

My husband and I are having our first child and we want to wait until the baby is born to find out the sex. Most people have expressed shock at this and multiple people have told us it’s not possible and we are making things much more difficult for ourselves. I don’t really see how but I wanted to see the experiences of people who have done this and if you are glad you did or regretted it. I don’t really plan to rush to have the nursery done and our nursery theme will be the same regardless. Nothing we really need to buy so early is “gendered,” so I’m just not understanding how it makes a difference. Thanks!

Best hospital for childbirth?

I’m especially interested in the opinions of people who have worked or given birth at either Bronson or Beacon. I have c-PTSD largely from medical situations stemming from a fairly traumatic history so I’m very scared. I have coded twice and had to be in the PICU as a teen. I have some rare health conditions and gene mutations that make me react very differently to medications and treatments than the average person. I need to be at a hospital and with a team who is going to LISTEN, know my medical history and understand they can’t treat me like an average patient. My neurologist basically said I am an outlier, if there is a .000001% chance it can happen, it usually happens to me. Thank you for your help!

I have this sore on my inner thigh. It happened the day after I used a sugar scrub for the first time a few months ago. It seemed like it went away after about a week and then came back and has gotten a worse. It is hard and very tender. It does not itch. I went to urgent care maybe 2 months ago and they gave me cephalexin and it did nothing. I am going to make a doctors appointment when my husband gets paid next week but we can’t really afford for me to go before then. Any idea what this may be? I am a 33/F. I have a history of hEDS, POTS, MCAS, and Autoimmune encephalitis. Thank you.

Where can I purchase a port of call flag in Reykjavik? My husband and his friends are big boaters and want me to bring them a few home. Thank you!

Hi, I’m 33/F, 5’2 118 pounds. I live in the us. I have POTS,MCAS, hEDS and a history of autoimmune encephalitis and toxic shock syndrome. I don’t take any daily prescriptions, I take ubrelvy as needed. I take magnesium glycinate, a multi vitamin l glutamine, oxaloacetate and vitamin c daily.

Recently I have had a few weird episodes lately and am curious what might be causing it? Twice now I have started laughing out of nowhere and the laughter gets harder and harder and I genuinely can’t stop to the point it hurts and it can last a few minutes. By the time it lets up I’m crying and remain teary eyed for a while after. Afterwards I felt so out of it, my body hurts from how much I tensed up from laughing so hard, I couldn’t talk without fumbling my words, I keep tripping over my feet and just felt spacey, I kept feeling like I was having Déjà vu. I’ve had a few other times where I have had these same sensations but that was preceded by a weird kind of star that darts around my vision for maybe 10 seconds. The star think has been happening about a year and the laughter a couple of months.

Thank you for your thoughts.
