I’ve decided I’m finally going to use up my Velvet Petals this month since I have a backup now. 🤭 It’s hands down my number one VS scent. It’s honestly so amazing—such a pretty, buttery, sweet almondy floral. That’s the best way I can describe it. And I have found the perfect lotion to pair with it 🤫 besides the velvet petals one of course.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Butterfly for quite some time and never really understood the hype. I started using the body butter this month though, and I think it smells lovely! It’s an airy, sweet floral scent, and I find it pairs really well with sweet vanilla fragrances. I’ve been layering it with Pink’s Pop Jelly Vanilla and Dreamy and they smell lovely together !
This is also my first time using a body butter from Bath & Body Works, and the formula is amazing! It’s so thick and moisturizing, and it gives my skin an instant glow. Now I’m on the lookout for more body butters from them !

A mod from another subreddit has been threatening me, saying they’re going to prosecute me for buying a kitten from an illegal breeder through dubizzle.
The thing is, at the time I genuinely didn’t know this person was an illegal breeder, and I also didn’t know that buying cats through dubizzle could be illegal in the UAE.
They’ve now told me that I should delete my Reddit account and “hope I can’t be traced,” which honestly feels really intimidating.
I’m just trying to understand how serious this actually is. Can someone realistically prosecute a buyer in a situation like this, especially if the purchase was made without knowingly doing anything illegal?
Would appreciate any genuine advice.
Also - just so you know , I have gone to the cops to file a complain against the seller and they haven’t said anything of this sorts to me.

I posted on this subreddit earlier today about being sold a sick cat by a breeder and how I wanted to take legal action against her. A lot of people assume that I want to press charges only because I lost my money and was sold a sick cat, which is not the case. I never mentioned it. Of course, I would like the money back, not because I WANT the money, but because I do not want this breeder to make any profit off of this. I also said that it was an honest mistake, but seeing the amount of responses and how a lot of people were bashing me and being so negative towards me, without considering the mental impact that it can have on a human being, which is really messed up in itself. Let that be on the side, yeah. I was just wondering, everyone was stressing on: there are so many cats to be adopted, there are so many stray cats. Sure, I agree. These can be adopted, they can be taken care of as well, they should get a safe home as well, they should be treated well as well, right? But I, for one, cannot help all the cats in need, and number two, if all of us just focus on buying stray cats, who the hell will rescue these cats from problematic people? So, just because we have to pay money for them, we just let these cats suffer at the hands of the breeder and just let them die, right ?
Also, might I add this kitten is a Scottish fold and I know the health problems that it comes with which is why the breeding of Scottish folds is banned in a lot of countries so I wanted to get all the kittens she had to SAVE THEM from being bred. Now , of course I can’t fully stop this , but I wanted to do what I can.
The kitten that I bought has parvo virus, and now, of course, I’m sure the lady knew it. There were very obvious signs, like there was blood in her stool, and she wouldn’t give two shits about it. She wouldn’t take it to the vet. She would never spend the kind of money that I am spending on taking care of this kitten right now.
Now, because I bought it, and since buying animals is such a crime in a lot of people’s eyes here, she has a chance of surviving, because I am willing to pay the amount to take care of her. Like, with this logic of how everyone is attacking me, let’s just not buy any of these cats, because let us teach the breeders a lesson and let’s just let these cats die, you know? So what I’m understanding is, somehow, the lives of stray cats are more important than the lives of the cats that are being sold by breeders. Like, I don’t get the moral code here anymore, and I’ve had it with everyone.
This is too much. I came on here looking for advice, and there were so many assumptions. No, I do not want the money back. The money that I paid for the cat is nothing compared to the money that I’ll be paying in vet bills, and I’m okay with that. I don’t expect compensation for that. I just wanted to get this person screwed up for not taking care of the kitten, and for breeding , and there were other kittens in this bunch who probably also got infected. I just want her to stop doing this. So, I’ve had it.
Also might I add - how people were so quick to judge me and were calling me out for being a bad human being. You know nothing about me , nothing.
I have quite a few animals that I have rescued including small animals that a lot of people here don’t give a single flying crap about. So really , people on here need to get a huge reality check.
If you’ve nothing nice to say to someone , just shut it.

You guys — when I tell you I’ve never bought backups of a scent before, but this one has me in an absolute CHOKEHOLD (my fiancé too 😭). We are obsesseddd with Salted Shorelines.
