Replacement TT for a Pro Ject that developed an issue with auto return.

Just bought the TEAC TN-280BT-A3. I am coming from a Pro-Ject A1CS Automatic. I did as much research as I could and the reviews were decent. I got it for $298 CA which appears to be a good price. While I would have gone to the Fluance 82 it sells for much more here in Canada than the US. Wondering on your thoughts? I have a Yamaha A-S501 which has built in phono preamp.

RT81+ Elite versus RT82

I am probably going to purchase one of these TT and wondering what the differences are since they are the exact same price $499 in Canada. I see the obvious platter difference along with stylus. Are they both fairly upgradeable (not sure I ever would other than the cartridge someday. Thanks

RT81 with this modest setup?

The project A1CS is going to the turntable graveyard as it’s broken. Would the Fluance RT81 be a decent replacement along with my Yamaha AS501 and Polk TSi200 Speakers?
