Does anyone know the name of this movie (Sci-Fi I think)?

I saw this film sometime between 2004 to 2012 but I am not sure when it was made. I only remember one plot point from the film. The film is set in the future. I can't remember if it's on Earth or if it's a future where humans live on other planets. There was a man, I think he was a black man but I cannot be certain. He asked his government for a visa to travel to another country or another planet. The government denied him the Visa but did not tell him why. He then found a way to travel illegally to the place that he wanted to go to. But when he got there he died almost immediately. Turns out because of his blood chemistry or something like that, the place he was trying to go to was extremely dangerous and a health risk for him. That is why the government denied him travel in the first place.

If anyone knows what film that says please tell me the title. I would like to watch it again.

Do you think we are in an economic depression right now in 2026?

Google's AI says that we are not because the unemployment rate is less than 25% like it was in 1930. Yet I disagree for the following reasons; The number one reason being that the majority of jobs are not paying a living wage. People that are working full time (or more) are often getting subsidized rent by their family members or are living with family for free. People that HAVE to pay rent are desperate. Also people cannot afford healthcare, proper transportation, and things like childcare on their salaries. Also I believe that the economy cannot be judged by the stock market because that is the economy of rich people, not the working class. What is your opinion?

Would you take it as a compliment if your date told you that you look like a famous actor/actress that you they have a crush on?

Title says it all
