I’m in the planning phase a project and trying to evaluate if screen printing is a viable option for graphics.

I’m making acoustic panels for my room and would greatly prefer my panel fabric to be visually interesting.

One requirement for a panel is that the fabric remain breathable so thick ink I between the weave of the textile is not acceptable. Alternatively having a dye bleed and soften the edges of the images is also not desirable.

I’m loathed to setup a projector and freehand if this can be done through another process.

Would screen printing be an option and are there specific materials or techniques that would be recommended?

This would be my first attempt at screen printing.

Background/reason for idea:
Having recently dealt with a more than 6 month ordeal trying to get unbanned from a subreddit. An issue that would likely have taken 10min to get resolved with better communication.

Idea:
I’d like to suggest that the ban reason be included in or linked to the “banned banner” that the user sees.

- Mods have, or should have, a ban reason associated with a banned user.
- I would like to see that reason be visible to the user.
- I think it would also be a good idea to have banned communities be visible one place for the end user; similar to a subscribed communities list.

Hey everyone I’m (slowly) starting my Crestron programming journey and wondering what is and isn’t tied to me vs the company I’m currently working for?

I picked up some dated equipment to use for a home lab type environment; CP3N, HR remote, waiting on a wireless module. What I was wondering is if I leave the company I’m with or they shut down will I still be able to use ToolKit and Simpl and can I continue to update the software?

Im not trying to get trained and bounce or anything like that. Im just seeing that the company is struggling to gain new clients and I always try to plan for the worst.

Hello everyone I’m trying to find the smallest DMX decoder I can find. The decoder will dictate the size of the unit’s enclosure.

RDM would be nice but size is more important.

Any help would be appreciated!

I know automation, theaters, HiFi, and A/V distribution incredibly well and can get by when it comes to most residential networking. But I’m completely unfamiliar with UNI’s interface and its more advanced/granular capabilities… so I went and purchased a UCG-fiber for replace my Araknis router.

My home’s topology is a basic router in a stick with the UNI feeding into a Netgear 4250 that then feeds a Netgear AP, another Netgear 4250, and several direct connections to hosts.

4 VLANs (1 totally isolated/guest)

Now for my questions:

1. Is there a way to turn off or just pause traffic flow reporting for a single device or vlan? I don’t always want to know my adult kid’s browsing histories are or they mine (One of them I the other tech in the house and they’ll be the other admin for when I’m on site/traveling for work).
2. I was previously using a pi-hole for ad blocking. What are some good options for ad-blocking now? I’d like to keep using the gateway as my secure DNS.

3. Can I setup lan side link aggregation at the gateway? My switches all support it as does my AP but I can’t see if it’s possible to do so on the UCG’s port configuration?
