Is it insane for me, a brand new rider who has never stepped foot on a motorcycle to be lusting after one of these brand new? I’m 5’9” pretty athletic 190lbs. Should I pull the trigger or start with a CRF300L? I want to go with my heart and get the new XR650L but don’t want to make a huge mistake. I see these 14 year old kids in south Florida riding yz250’s on the street and think how difficult can it be for a 45 year old on an XR?
