Hi there!

Will be in Japan in late August. There is typhoon weather hitting Tokyo and I hope it ends very soon. In the meantime, what can I do every day to hide from the storms but also enjoy my time in Japan?

I will be bringing a rain jacket/umbrella/jeans/leather boots to protect me, but the high humidity is tough as well.

Any thoughts are welcomed and helpful!

Hey Y'all! I am staying in Tokyo around August 17th- 27th and I'm looking for live shows in the greater metropolitan area. I will be in Asakusa and Ueno while city hopping, but with trains and buses so abundant, I'd go anywhere to hear live music. I am a jazz fan and a punk rock/hard rock/grunge/alternative fan so anything with groovy bass, heavy drums, and addicting guitar is up my alley. South of Ueno Park has jazz clubs I will check out but I can't find anything for rock. No posts online either, so I'm guessing you have to go to these places to see the flyers posted. Any help is appreciated!!
