OnePlus 15

I tried a oneplus 15 for the first time. Bought it to test along with many other devices I've purchased to learn more about diagnosing my sensitivities and the causes of my eyes straining and headaches. I've noticed that the OnePlus 15 gives me similar symptoms as my z fold 7. On the other hand, my symptoms are nowhere near as instant when using my Pixel 10 Pro. I seem to have sensitivity to many things like most of us here do. I am sensitive to PWM, blue light, and now whatever it is that triggers immediate headaches and straining when using the OP15. Does anybody have any ideas what it is? I'm wondering if I've been thinking my issue is PWM this whole time when really it's something else and PWM is only a minor issue.

Motorola Razr Fold's flicker prevention works well for PWM sensitive people or those just looking to better their eye health/ care.

So I did the thing most people don't do and I listened to somebody on the internet... I bought the razr fold and I've been testing all the different phones while recoding their screens in 240 fps to capture pwm changes. It works... I have a feeling all those people in this forum that bad mouthed it might not have even changed the flicker prevention setting. Its only been 1 day so I'll let y'all know if anything changes. However, it's already a massive improvement over the terrible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. Even the OLED Saver app couldn't help the issues on the z fold 7.

What phones are good for pwm sensitive?

I'm sure this has been posted a million times but I just found it about pwm sensitivity. Never had significant enough straining to care until I bought a Samsung Z Fold 7. My 6 didn't seem to be that bad. My wife's 17 pro isn't that bad. They all hurt my eyes over time but this fold 7 is horrible with crazy pain within only a minute of usage.

I guess fold 8 ultra might be same dimensions as fold 7?

Its a Chinese brand but they are a #1 bestseller. I'm not super up to date on fold 8 news so please excuse me if this already known info.

I'm sick of Google. What search engines are y'all using instead?

I've been using Google as my search engine for as long as i can remember but I cant stand all the tracking and AI. Duckduckgo seems to be the most known alternative to solve my problems but even then theres a lot going on and you have to toggle everything off. Are there any others that y'all would recommend. I was told about Kagi but it seems to be paid and has accounts, then there's Bare, which seems cool but I've never heard of them before.

Edit: not Brave, but Bare. idk if i can link things without getting taken down but its (searchbare dot com)

Edit #2: Its now been over 3 days that I've been testing a bunch of search engines and I have to say I'm shocked not a single person has mentioned bare. I love it so far. Its so clean and minimalist... However, while I'm not a huge fan of DuckDuckGo UI, it is my choice whenever I need a more traditional search engine. I just can't get over that kagi is paid and uses accounts that I'm skeptical are or could at any point track certain usage, and I don't like start page ui or it's push to use more AI answers.

I built a social media app on Base44

I built a social app on Base44 and would like to know Base44's limitations before migrating it. It's called looop.live and it aims to be what I imagine Instagram would be in an alternate universe. Some of the key features are that users can only post what has been taken in the app and filters are true LUTs that can be downloaded as .CUBE files for external use in Lightroom, Resolve, Etc. I'd appreciate some feedback and help learning how much traffic Base44 can realistically support.

Any help evaluating and testing app?

Hi all, I need some help testing out my new app (looop.live) that is a social media app that aims to be like if PHHHOTO and VSCO had a baby. You can only post what has been taken in the app, in an attempt to reduce if not omit AI, Bot, and Spam content. We take a hard stance on not selling user data, not tracking precise location, removing DMs to reduce harrassment going unnoticed and much more along those lines. I've spent months building it, and its been a bit of an eye opener of how unsupportive friends and family can be even when asking just to sign up and test it out. I'm here for all the different criticisms. Good or bad, my intention is just to better the experience and reliability. Hopefully some of y'all here can help me with that. I appreciate y'all time.
