Have been thinking about this while listening to the song (my personal favourite on the new album). The song obviously deals with the loss of his father, which was a recurring theme on IWTD. But I can’t help but think when he sings "We share this name the best we can" that he might be referring to his brother.
In Keep This Up from “Proper Dose” he sings “I haven't talked to my brother in over a year now”, and Our Bond seems to be about the break down of a relationship. I wonder if anyone else read it this way?
In case anyone is looking desparately for an air con unit in the area - I got carried away and ended up ordering 2 for my pregnant wife. Not looking to make a profit - selling it for what we paid for it - £620 (I definitely paid more for it than it would sell for outside of a heatwave, sorry!). It's a Blu 09 9000BTU unit, brand new, still in the box and unopened.
My brother surprised me with tickets and I’m absolutely buzzing! It will be my first time watching England at a major tournament and I was wondering how we can make the most of the pre-game atmosphere and build up? My wife is pregnant and can’t face the heat, so we’re looking to sell our tickets - Ticketmaster adds insane resale fees (£12 a ticket) so happy to transfer them and be paid via a PayPal business transaction (protects everyone from getting scammed!)
Tickets were £86 per person with fees, happy to sell for £70 each.
I know some people are saying it might be cancelled but I don’t want to wait to find out - if it gets cancelled, Ticketmaster will refund and you’ll make money on the tickets and if it’s not, you get to see the Cure!

Happy to sell for £25 as tickets are still available, but they are £38 face value with fees!
Need someone to sense check that I’ve not lost my mind here. I parked on St Michael’s Park Road near the hospital. The ticket warden was actually by the pay and display machine - I asked him if the parking zone code on the side of the machine to be used in RingGo was the correct one for where my car was parked, he said yes. I paid on RingGo for 2 hours. Came back 30 minutes later and there’s a parking ticket on my windshield!
