I built a website that answers pretty much every anti-vegan argument you’ll ever hear

Hey guys!

So I’ve been working on this for a while and finally got it out into the world: The Veg Advocacy (thevegadvocacy.com), basically a big free library of “things people say to vegans” + solid answers to actually use, instead of standing there blanking mid-conversation.

Quick honest note: I used some AI help building parts of it. I’m one person doing this on the side, not a dev team. Doesn’t mean the content is sloppy or wrong, everything’s researched, just being upfront about it so nobody feels tricked later lol.

I posted this in another very famous vegan community earlier and honestly the reception was pretty rough, got a lot of “vibe coding” jabs instead of actual feedback on the site itself. So if you’ve got genuine criticism, positive or negative, I’d much rather hear that than assumptions. Trying to build something actually useful here.

It’s 100% free, no ads, just go poke around: thevegadvocacy.com

If you like it, sharing it around helps way more than you’d think, this is very much a one-person passion project. Thanks for reading 🌱

The Veg Advocacy — a debate reference site for vegans is finally LIVE!!!!

Hey r/vegan,

Some of you already knew I was building this, it's finally live: The Veg Advocacy (thevegadvocacy.com), a free reference site cataloging the arguments people throw at vegans, with clear, sourced answers ready to go.

What you can do on the site:

  • Browse by category - 11 categories covering biology & evolution, health & nutrition, religion & tradition, and more
  • Get a quick answer or the full explanation - each argument has a short "quick answer" for when you need something fast, plus a deeper explanation if you want the full reasoning
  • Search instantly - typo and accent-tolerant, so you find what you need even if you don't spell it perfectly
  • Save favorites - bookmark the arguments you use most so they're one click away next time
  • Switch languages - full English/Portuguese support (more languages coming soon, drop a request in the comments if you want one prioritized)
  • Suggest missing arguments - there's a built-in form if you run into something the site doesn't cover yet

Also, the site includes a dialogue school to help you practice and structure debates, flashcards for memorizing key arguments and answers, and a dedicated religion section covering faith-based objections specifically! with more features on the way.

It's built to actually be usable in the moment, mobile-friendly, fast to search, so you're not scrambling mid-conversation trying to remember the science.

It's live now at thevegadvocacy.com, completely free.

If you find it useful, sharing it around (with friends, in other vegan spaces, wherever) genuinely helps it reach more people who could use it, and if you spot gaps or bugs, I want to hear about them.

“The Veg Advocacy” Release date.

Hey everyone! 🌱

Some of you might recall me from this post about the website I’m creating to win every vegan debate.

I have some wonderful news! I’ve been working on it for the past few weeks and have developed some cool new features that you’ll see in the release.

The website is planned to go live in the beginning of next month.

I’ve decided on the name “The Veg Advocacy”. I think it sticks in your mind and is cool if you say it quickly 😛

I’ll be releasing the domain and new information very soon.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! 🌱💖

Building a massive, sourced “anti-vegan arguments” website. What are the most common or bizarre arguments you hear?

Hey everyone! 🌱

I’m building a comprehensive website directory that organizes anti-vegan arguments, myths, and FAQs, providing thorough answers backed by scientific sources and data.

The goal is to create a one-stop resource for vegans preparing for debates and for curious non-vegans looking for reliable information.

I already have over 100+ questions cataloged, but I want the community's input!

Please drop a comment with one of this (or more):
\- The questions or arguments you hear most often.
\- The weirdest or most bizarre things people have said to you.
\- Your favorite go-to responses (and sources, if you have them!).

Thanks for helping build this tool! 🚀
