Red Eared Sliders

Does anyone else’s store have a constant problem with sick/fighting turtles? My store has been following all the Petco guidelines exactly and have had no issues with water quality or heating/lights, yet we almost always have at least one turtle that is having problems.
(Plz share if you’ve had problems yourselves, I’d like to have evidence to show corporate that selling these guys is definitely costing us more time and money than we make from selling them/their supplies)

Advice/Ideas please

When I adopted this boy over a week ago, he could only move or flail around upside down. I moved him to a 5 gal with tannins, started fasting and feeding frozen-thawed daphnia. He can’t reach the surface and can barely move around. The only change in his condition has been him going from upside down to “standing” on his head, his mobility has not improved…What do y’all think is the best course of action? Is there anything else I can try to help him? (Tank parameters are perfect/not the issue)
