[Question] Just found this in a box after 12/13 years
Not exactly sure what watch this is, but I hear Seiko is a good brand and I like the blue face so I want to get it cleaned up and working again. As far as I know it’s been dead pretty much since it was given to me in like 2013/2014, and just sat rattling in a box until a couple days ago.
Does anyone have recommendations on how to best clean/ restore the metal or glass? The metal is pretty scuffed and swirled and the front glass has a few surface scratches on it. I’m planning to get the battery replaced in the next couple days too to see if it still runs.
Also any idea as to when this watch was made? Im assuming late 90’s/ early 2000’s but I’m not sure.
