This is an already difficult show to keep up with (hence the weekly Episode Companion Cheat Sheets that I share here), but keeping up on the giant jumps in time that happen sometimes between scenes and episodes can be even more challenging.
It would be interesting to add some data as to what was happening when these jumps in time are occurring, I was able to relatively easily throw this one together thanks to the Episode Companions I've been sharing.
Just some interesting food for thought. I'd be interested in what you all think.

When watching Season 4 Episode 4 airing tomorrow (29 July 2026 in Australia) this will be very handy. I'll be publishing these episode companions the day before the air date of the next episode.
For me using this is as simple as pausing when a contestant first comes on screen and having a quick read of what they've done previously before continuing on. It's made a world of difference for me being able to keep up with who is who and what they've done, and it's made my enjoyment the show much greater.
It's a quite bit more difficult trying to keep up with Days and Times with contestants, as ITV Australia doesn't do nearly as good of a job as Leftfield Pictures (ITV America) does for Alone US of keeping us updated with the current day and time for each segment.
Also, keeping track of the fish they're catching (or whatever other food) is difficult as ITV Australia seems to be prioritising covering people crying over people getting food, so trying to keep an accurate account of this isn't do-able, we can only do our best to keep up.

Obviously, Adelaide drivers are terrible, but in particular they specialise in having absolutely no fucking idea when it comes to merging; it's like showing algebra to a Corgi, it's never going to work.
I imagine the Adelaide drivers see me merge and must think I'm some kind of wizard, or professional driving instructor, in order to pull off advanced stuff like adjusting the speed of my vehicle to painlessly and seamlessly merge into flowing traffic.
I've seen lots of bad merging in all the years I've lived in Adelaide; it's stupid, it's annoying, but most of the time I can avoid it or tolerate it, but today someone took the crown.. I don't even know who held the crown before, but this person set the new benchmark, they took it up to a whole new level.
I'll set the scene for you: it's 11:30am today, entering the Southern Expressway southbound from Sheriffs Road, this is a bit of a tighter squeeze than some of the other entries onto the Southern Expressway, but totally not a problem.
And this all-star stops decides to stop after they've entered the left lane, but just after the merge lane, a literal full stop, and I have to slam on my breaks to not hit the car in front of me, and the all-star stays stopped for 20 to 30 seconds.
I can't merge right because traffic in the right lane is flowing at 100km/h and I'm at a full stop, and the people travelling at full speed in the left lane before the merge lane towards this stopped traffic in the left lane have started panic changing lanes from the left lane to the right lane to avoid the STOPPED traffic in the left lane.
There was no going left, the merge lane was full, there was no going right, traffic was busy and going at full speed, and I'm at a full stop. I'm thankful my fully stopped vehicle wasn't rear ended by another vehicle travelling at 100km/h.
Adelaide, you have a new champion.
I have the Directv app (not Directv Stream)installed on a couple of my streaming boxes (Onn 4K Plus and Nvidia Shield Pro 2019), and it appears that some channels are missing.
In particular I've noticed that ESPN and FS1 are missing.
Is this happening to everyone else?

I've found that I'm using these recaps as episode companions for next week's episode; like this one for episode 5 will be good to reference when I'm watching episode 6 next week — when a contestant first appears on screen, I'll pause and have a quick read through of what they've done so far up to that point, and it really enhances my enjoyment of the show so much.
I've made a few improvements based on suggestions (keep them coming!) and ideas I've had — I've added the timestamps that appear on screen, this really helps to understand just how much time has (or hasn't) elapsed during a contestant sequence.
I've also added page numbers, breadcrumbs, current temp when shown on screen, and other info from the captions.
