Battery Drain When Not Used

I'm wondering if this is expected but if I'm doing something wrong. If I leave my battery attached to the AVP and take it off, the battery will fully drain overnight. As if the headset is using significant power. But if I disconnect the battery from the headset the battery will retain its charge for weeks. Is this normal? Is the expectation that you pretty much always disconnect the battery from the headset?

Looking at getting a 180 or 360 camera. How does storage and playback work?

I find the built in immersive video capture of the AVP to be a bit lacking. It's a super narrow field of vision and when you watch it back it doesn't actually immerse you in that video. So I'm looking at getting something like an Insta360 to capture moments that I could watch back later in a truly immersive environment. I know the Insta cameras are super popular. Any other good ones?

My biggest question is how do you play them back in AVP? Is there a preferred app? Where do you store it? Is NAS an option and then stream to the AVP? Just want to know how it works before diving in.

How long is the Victory Garden show?

I’m heading to the show in San Diego tomorrow and want to give the babysitter an idea of what time we’ll be home. First opener to final YTG song, how long are we talking?

I feel like this music video was peak pop culture surprise and really encapsulates the good vibes of like 2012-2015.

What’s something you have or are trying to do differently from your parents (not necessarily parenting related)

Lately I’ve been taking sunblock a lot more seriously than my parents. They were very much “soak up the sun” type people. Rarely wore sunblock in the Midwest.

Food wise I took up eating vegetables without some sort of cheese sauce a long time ago. Also waaaay less processed foods.

Water pan?

Smoking my first pork shoulder on my WW 24. My understanding is with pellet grills you typically don’t need water pans. Any need to add something somewhere to get a bit more moisture in there to avoid drying out?

If I’m not supposed to keep pellets in the grill when not in use, how am I supposed to get the rest of the pellets out

What’s the point of this grate? To keep hands out when it’s on so as to not smoke your ribs with some finger chunks? I feel like I want to just take it off.

Edit: thanks all, for the replies. I’ve learned that 1) the guard can come off and 2) the “don’t store pellets in the grill” is a bit exaggerated.

I just realized that middle school ruined polos for the rest of my life.

I’m looking in my closet for something to wear for my kid’s music performance at school. I need something on a nice scale between a shirt and a button up. I thought “man I need a polo” then had flashbacks to popped collars, polos under polos, and just the closet full of polos I had in middle school with khaki cargo shorts.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to come back around to wearing a polo again.

Edit: as I’m thinking about the timeline, I think my polo phase was more solidly high school and very early college.

Got evacuated at the worst spot on Mickey and Minnie's

I was on Mickey and Minnie's yesterday afternoon around 3:45 when there was a full power down but we got evacuated at the worst spot. We were pulling into the station at the very end, and because our car (we were the very front row in this pic) was only halfway onto the platform, we had to wait to be rescued with a little 12" step stool. No cool behind the scenes sights nothing backstage to look at.

On the bright side, there were signs somethings were going wrong. When we entered the factory area where you inch toward the big compressors, after it transformed into a peaceful oasis we were just stopped there for a couple minutes. Super serene but obviously something funky happening.

Our next ride was Big Thunder and as we were going up the first chain lift all the lights just went out and we stopped. Thankfully was only a couple seconds then we continued on.
