Beginner looking for some help.

So I started cycling last year and did around 600 miles between summer and late fall. And since it’s warmed up this year I’ve done almost that much already. I have a Walmart bike and that was good enough for seeing if cycling was something I’d enjoy and it turns out I thoroughly do but it’s showing some wear and I don’t think it’s worth replacing parts on. So I’m looking to upgrade to something that will last me longer and will perform better. Cycling for me is just for exercise, I won’t be doing races or events, just riding on 95% paved trails an hour or two at a time 3-4 times a week. The research I’ve done has made me think a hybrid is what I’m looking for. I’d like one with disc brakes and a decent amount of gears. I don’t really understand the difference between freewheel and cassette but I hear cassette is better but I don’t know how to tell if any given by has cassette or freewheel. I tried two local bike shops and their prices are higher than what I’m willing to pay right now. I’d like a giant or trek. So I come to you Reddit to tell me what specific models to look for on facebook marketplace as that’s where I’ll be looking. I’m not looking to spend more than 400$. Thanks for any help.

Looking for recommendations of spice heavy books.

I’ve read quite a few books/series in the genre and I’m looking for more so please recommend any that you think fit what I’m looking for. I only use audible for books. I’m looking for books that have tons of explicit spice. Good narrators are important as well. Books with an academy or school setting haven’t held my interest in the past. Same with slice of life style books. Some of my favorites are herald of shalia, incubus RA, coven king, and the breeder. Ideally I’d like books that have plenty of butt stuff and girls that like getting intimate with each other as well as the MC. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Bike recommendations

Been riding consistently for about a year now and have done about 600 miles in that time on a nice paved trail near home so off-roading road isn’t necessary. I currently have a huffy rock creek 29 from Walmart I got for <150$ but after a year of use and all those miles it’s showing some wear. I don’t plan on doing any races or events, I just do it for exercise. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to swap parts on this bike or just get an upgrade that won’t break the bank. The one I have is an 18 speed and I’d like to have something similar going forward. My bike doesn’t have disc brakes and I’d like to have that. Any recommendations are appreciated.

My dog has a badly swollen ear, likely puss filled.

My 9ish year old dog, a pointer/lab mix about 80 pounds, has one badly swollen ear, on the floppy part of the ear, not the inner ear. It’s just part of that ear and it feels like it’s full of fluid. The ear looks irritated and itchy and it’s warm to the touch. I noticed this earlier this morning. There’s no noticeable cuts or bites or anything that looks like it would cause this. The fluid filled part is about the size and thickness of a man’s thumb. Looking for advice. Thanks

I’ve been looking at suppressors and would like to get one. I’d like to get one that can be swapped between my pistols and rifles. The two guns I’d run it on most are an Sig p226(9) and an ar15(.223). Since I want to run it on this pistol I’d like one with a piston or that a piston is readily available for and easy to install/remove. I may want to run .308 and .45 through It later on so I’d like it to be capable of handling that. I’m well aware that you lose some performance running calibers through it that it wasn’t specifically made for and that’s ok. Thanks for any recommendations.
