Even the clapped out Elements I see still are rocking most if not all of their clear coat, they seem to hold up far better paintwise that other models.
2005 Element 5MT rt4wd. Honda MTF went into the trans, Dual pump into the rear differential. Everything I'm reading says the front diff and transfer case is part of the trans so is included in a transmission fluid swap. The parts guy sold me two quarts of hypoid gear oil 75w85 as well for what I assumed was the transfer case, but again, everything I'm finding now says it's part of the trans. There looks to be a drain plug of some sort on the far back of the assembly next to the driveshaft, but I don't see a logical fill.
This bolt is like an inch out but seems tight. I assume it should be in there flush? Did the POs mechanic crossthread it? Cant find any good pictures of one fully installed to tell.

I have a 125 gallon with an enormous horde of emerald corys, many are close to 10 years old. Im considering going another route with the tank (larger, native fish, maybe a small mouth). Im not sure the best way to go about unloading the corys I have though. Thoughts?
