It really felt less like a yoga flow and more like stretching. I liked it a lot, different than what I was expecting.

Quite literally never thought I’d be here

I’ve (38F) been stuck at 205 for over 4 months. I thought that maybe my body had reached a set point and wasn’t gonna budge. I have not seen a one at the beginning of my weight since I was 14/15 so this is just crazy. 90+lbs down overall, over two years. (Started July ‘24) Slow and steady 🙌🏼

ISO surfer romances, especially if the FMC is the surfer, ala Blue Crush.

Blue Crush is one of my all time comfort movies. I watch parts of it several times a year. Sometimes I just watch the surfing parts and skip the romance. Sometimes I just watch the romance. I've long looked for a book that would give me the same vibes. I've searched the sub several times over the last couple years, but I thought I'd finally ask. I would love a book that features an FMC that is a surfer, but would be ok with an MMC surfer (or both). I'm also open to similar feeling books. (Summer/beach focused)

What should I read next? I've only ever read 2 Stephen King novels.

I read the 'Girl who loves Tom Gordon' in high school as assigned reading (20 years ago) and just read 11.22.63 in late Dec '25. I don't know if I'm ready to jump into the hard horror, but I was so enraptured with 11.22.63 (i finished it in 6 days/had a hard time putting it down) that I want to read more of his work. I've been scrolling the subreddit trying to get ideas of what direction to do into. Would the Dark Tower series be a good next step? Or should I start with Carrie? Please help me narrow it down.

Complete newbie to Elle Kennedy and these characters. My thoughts having finished the show.

I thought the show was ok. There were parts I was totally engrossed in and there were parts where I was barely watching. That is no fault of the actors, which I thought were all fantastic. Hannah's scene on the phone with her mom in ep7 was a real standout. I've had so many similar calls with my dad (I'm 38, but general depression = several in the last couple weeks), and it felt completely real and lived in. I think my main issue was I just didn't click with Hannah and Garrett as a couple. Again, both actors are great (loved him in Saved by the Bell), and they're both hot as hell, but their intimate scenes left me cold. On the flipside, I couldn't get enough of Dean and Allie. I will be watching ep 6 on repeat. Every time either character was on screen, I was glued. And put them together? Fire. I've seen a lot of complaints about them taking up too much screentime this season, but I was in my little corner rallying for more. I'm thrilled to read that they'll be the focus next season and I'm very tempted to read their book to get more of them sooner.
