Bear accidentally possess a girl and has to mentally navigate the situation he is in, all while accepting the fact that magic exists??? And that the girl of his dreams is not really who she seems to be.

Joe Goldberg, a narcissistic serial killer, that kills every girl he gets obsessed with and one of the most delusional characters I’ve ever seen.

Bear is extremely hated on and despised. While Joe is exalted and fawned after. The fans of that show love him lol even though he is a serial killer and a megalomaniac.

It’s just funny to compare the two characters and their fan bases. Because Joe on paper is so dangerous, manipulative and crazy. But because he is attractive, smart and cunning, women overlook the evil and look for the glimmer of hope.

While Bear’s actions came from an innocent crush and the magic was not intentional.

Just shows the conundrum of human perspective.

Is there an anime equivalent to toon force?

It is widely known that bugs bunny and the mask have incredible toon force abilities. Pretty much making anything out of their imagination possible. It is also regarded that Luffy has toon force abilities in Gear 5

But I’m wondering if there is like a trope in Japanese anime that has a name for something like toon force in the west.

The only character that I can think right off the top of my head with those abilities like 100 percent is Saiki K. He can literally do anything he wants, his universe is as big or small as his imagination.

Are there other characters that possess this type of unlimited gag powers or is this not much of a thing that is seen in anime?

I watch a lot of anime but I can’t think of any others.
