The charger... sparks..?

I just noticed that the charger sometimes makes some sparks when connecting or disconnecting it from the watch, and sometimes while charging it also makes a weird electrical buzzing noise, which you can hear in the video if you raise the volume enough.

I doubt this is intended behaviour, so I wonder if it's a design or manufacturing issue.

Either way I ruled out the issue being my chargers or cables, since I tried various combinations including high quality PD setups and normal low power charging and they all present the same behaviour.

Latest update seems to have broken my favourite watchface, or the opposite...

...still it's brokenn noww.

I tried rebooting the watch but it didn't change anything, is there a way to roll back to the previous OS version or something?

No-voice typing/notes apps?

Hi everyone, I've tried many reminder, to-do and note apps, and their voice to text works pretty well, but sometimes I'm in environments where I can't speak out loud nor reach for the phone, and would like to be able to annotate thoughts and other stuff without having to speak (so likely trough a keyboard of some kind).

I think with the touch capabilities of the PT2 and even the gyroscope it wouldn't be much difficult to use a direct text input method, for those times one might need it.

As I already said I tried many, many apps, but still haven't found anything that comes close to what I need.

Does anyone know if something like this exists? Even if it doesn't sync with the phone nor do anything fancy it's fine; I'd just like a way to write stuff down without the phone nor having to speak.

How's everyone's screen alignment doing?

Mine seems pretty reasonable, but it isn't quite centered either...

Finally! It's now a Pebble that tells me the time!

And I'm absolutely amazed by how good its low power display looks! (Particularly in harsh midday light, where other display technologies would struggle or consume loads of energy)

Indoors it has lower contrast but it's still more readable than the normal LCD watch I was using before, and here you can activate the backlight without being forced to press a button, which is nice.

I also started messing around with apps and settings and I'm shocked by how well the voice to text works, without even needing heavy models to be installed on the phone.

But I have one doubt; I tried some compass apps and it seems like the compass isn't very accurate/stable; it only seems to kinda work if you're moving very slowly and stay still, which might be an issue for some apps that rely on it.

(I'd like to know how the compass behaves for some of you too)

And last but not least, a huge thanks to everyone who made this smartwatch possible, in particular to all the fella furs at Core Devices :3
