3.2kgs of tomatoes 🍅 and 600g of berries. Last batch of blackberries is turning into blackberry liqueur.

Trieste White Cousa Courgette looks amazing. I have way too many broad beans from the allotment 🫘

Will make a bean, olive oil, garlic dip!

Burpees Golden Courgette put to good use. 800g each, first of many!

Growing vegetables: Courgettes, squash, tomatoes, cauliflower, onions, shallots, Pak Choi, carrots, Aztec Broccoli, aubergine, chilli’s, beans, peas, blackcurrant, blueberry, redcurrant, raspberry, sweetcorn, lettuce, rhubarb, beetroot, pumpkin, potatoes and a heap of weeds

All from seed (realseeds website).

Also built a monstrosity of a flower bed to grow the flowers from my wife’s bouquet. Mixed success but overall looking good after I inherited an absolute swamp last year!

Happy with the haul. 2.5 kgs of Pak Choi, and 0.5kgs of shallot. Will make my wife some ramen, and maybe barbecue/freeze/giveaway the rest.

Early sows, and now I’ve got far too much! Will be making my wife ramen for a while!

Engagement but at what cost…
