Hello, my partner and I just got back from a wonderful trip to Ghent and we’re already looking at staying again. However this time we’re looking to book an Airbnb over Christmas.

Apart from the Christmas market (which looks great) is there anything cool to do in Ghent over Christmas, particularly on Christmas Day itself?

We’re vegan and queer, love coffee and good food or history and art so any kind of suggestions like that would be fab

I never expected to love Joanna or Joel but they’re my favourites. I love them all this series but they’re a big surprise. Didn’t expect Joanna to be so funny.

So myself and my partner have been working away through each other’s favourite shows. Mine is Buffy, his is Gilmore Girls (or Buffmore as we call it). We’ve been in sync episode wise and have just finished season 5.

The problem is that once we finish our respective seasons 7’s we will get four more episodes of GG with the revival and no Buffy (😢). He has no interest in watching Angel (dislikes the character and tbf I don’t know if I want to do that anyway) but has agreed to let me show him four episodes to match up.

What four episodes of Angel should I show him?

I’m thinking all Season 5, to partly continue the timeline but also because he LOVES Spike. I’ve kept him up to date with plot in Angel anyway and has softened on him as a character after he beat up Riley.

I’m thinking Conviction (new setting, soft reboot, direction continuation), You’re Welcome (Cordelia), Smile Time (funny) and Not Fade Away (cap it all off).

Any other suggestions?

TLDR: Which 4 episodes of Angel should I pick to show my partner after finishing Buffy?

I’m ticking something off my bucket list on Friday and going to see Taskmaster be recorded! I’m very excited and can’t wait to see who the contestants will be (Oscar winner: My partner says if it’s Olivia Coleman he’ll be made I didn’t get him a ticket)

Any advice on what to do on the day?
