i am a new cat mom i’m gonna get pet insurance, what pet insurance do u like and why?
In the opening number when she says “I could have turned him into stone, or a dog, or a chair, or a sn-“ what was she about to say? is it up to interpretation or is it supposed to be something obvious that i’m not getting? sorry if this is a stupid question but i’m directing the jr version rn and i want to be able to explain every little thing to them if needed
i have a work trip i have to go on for two weeks, so salem is going to stay with a friend of mine while im gone. i feel so awful and im gonna miss him so much. any advice on things i can do to calm my anxiety?
Idk if i’m just being a brat. But i feel like it just isn’t working anymore. I’ve been at my current restaurant for almost 2 years. Within that time we’ve had a pretty big turn over in servers, mostly due to people graduating college and starting full time jobs and etc.
So we’ve hired a lot of new people. A lot of new people who… let’s just say are not as good at their jobs! And that’s okay! When you’re somewhere new sometimes it takes a little bit to get the lay of the land. That’s ok!
But because some people literally can’t handle more than 3 tables at once, they’ve started overstaffing like crazy. So now i’m not making as much money as I used to, when I could probably handle the entire restaurant with one other person on staff.
We also are open until 2am every night. Which was fine when I was a student and this was my only form of income, but now I have another job most of the time and this is really just for on the side. I asked if I could be moved to mornings and they flat out told me no. And I was like okay whatever. They normally only keep 1 person until close so i’ll be staying late every couple weeks at most.
But no.
Apparently at some point in this past week people weren’t closing the way they’re supposed to. So now they’re threatening to keep the entire wait staff until close every night. Which is ridiculous because our kitchen closes at 11, and we normally don’t really get any tables past 10.
I really like working there but it’s just not working for me anymore. And they seem like they just don’t really care that it’s not working for me, despite the fact i’ve been there and done a good job for two years now. They barely have any competent servers left atp. It’s also if I start at an entirely new place, I have to completely re prove myself and acclimate myself to an entirely new place.
What do u think?
hey squad! i’m playing a sweet 16 this weekend (set up through a friend of a friend). it’s not really my normal crowd/venue. i normally play more house / dubstep or when i play bars i’ll play like house remixes of more popular songs.
i’m wondering for my dj friends who often do party’s (sweet 16s, quinceañeras, bar & bat mitzvah’s, weddings, etc) do you usually actually mix tracks? or do you kinda just play the songs? or do u do a mixture of both? just trying to figure out what’s best for this format because I’m not used to it.
sorry if this is a dump question lol
