Got my 9th Bar-Kays album! Nightcruising (81). Great early 80’s synth influenced groove album. A look a like Rick James sounding album like Street Songs. The song Freaky Behavior is just like super freak.

Let Your Mind Be Free-Brother to Brother (76) I just discovered this short lived band today from my local shops cheap heat bins! This album slaps so hard. Check them out on YouTube or Apple music or whatever other streamer. You won’t be disappointed

Was in the mood for some upbeat after work music. So Cordelia and Little Bones sounded just right. But then on side 2 Fiddlers Green begins and always brings a tear to my eyes finding out some years ago why it was written. A touching tribute!

I feel a little angry today..nah just excited for the draft trades tomorrow. But I digress… Battle of Los Angeles is a bit forgotten after the first two mega hit Rage albums. This album hits just as hard. Gorilla Radio!!

I’m curious about how much people’s collection is % wise used thrift/cheap bins finds? Mine is probably around 20%. But a lot of these finds are when I was buying so much thrifts in the first couple years in 2020-2022 getting into vinyl. I buy more quality now. (2000+ in collection)

Ziggy for free! This was from the small $1 section at a local shop. Owner looked at it and said I don’t like the look still so free. This copy actually sounds fantastic for its look and sound. Some clicks and pops here and there. Shout out to BOB The Record Guy!

Down On The Upside: Soundgarden (96). This album turns 30 tomorrow. I played the cassette to death. My favorite song is Burden In My Hand. I miss Chis Cornell, the best rock genre singer of my generation (age 50).

My friend said he can’t find a decent priced Red Clay anywhere on Discogs. I was so surprised how much they went up to also. This 2024 Music on Vinyl press is over $70 avg sale! For that being said it is Freddie’s and C.T.S. best album to me!

The new Fluance 87 is available now with a vta and carbon fiber tonearm for $799. Also double plinth thing and O/Blue or AT/95ML. Looks like a good deck. But I’m not a fan of the fishing line weight for an anti-skate?

I’ve had a XR since 11/29/18 and have been running IOS 17.6 since last year. I’ve got 74% battery health, small screen crack and battery port died. As you can see I use this phong a lot. Best long term battery in iPhone history.

I’m just sharing No Code for its ridiculous amount of physical content (I love it). It’s probably got the most content in my 2,000 plus vinyl collection. But gonna add that Hail Hail was another example of how they were trending to Yield as a future sound.

I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love you is an amazing song that gets overshadowed respectfully by Respect. I think it’s such an emotional angst of a song that only Aretha can make you feel the meaning of it!

Anybody ever throw on August to just clear their head of emotions and mental clouds? I do this when I need a break. Blue Buildings and Anna Begins are movers for me!

Maybe cause it’s the first album I truly loved by PJ even after Ten came out when I was 17. There is just something about .vs that brings me back to it when I want to hear a near perfect no skip album in my vast vinyl collection.
