4th gen Front diff leak

Has anyone ever seen or dealt with a leak between the front diff and output shaft housing on passenger side? (The bell piece that holds the actuator for the locker). It's leaking from the joint b/w the two. You can see sealant squished out from when it was originally assembled..

Have 64k on a 17'.

Believe the front diff is an 8bolt ZF, 3.92 gears..

Snxx position

Hey there.

Got a decently diverse portfolio, but tech/semi heavy. I hold etfs and large cap stocks..

I get the market is going through a correction.

However, I'm stuck in an SNXX position. Currently down 40% in it..

Having a heck of time deciding to cut my losses or say a prayer and wait???

Needless to say, it'll be the last time with a leveraged position.

Need help. Anyone in a similar position?

Leaking front diff...

Hey guys. I have 64k on a 17' 1500. Has anyone ever seen or dealt with a leak between the front diff and output shaft housing on passenger side? (The bell piece that holds the actuator for the locker). It's leaking from the joint b/w the two. You can see sealant squished out from when it was originally assembled. And seams to be seeping past.

Believe the front diff is an 8bolt ZF, 3.92 gears..

Hey guys, recently bought a 17 Ram 1500 5.7 CrewCab, 6'4 bed, 4wd, Tradesman with a r/s title in Arizona. Only 64k on the clock, single owner. Seen pics of damage/repair. Looks like it was side swiped by a motorcycle. Fender, bumper, control arm etc replaced. Surprised it totaled it, but then again, insurance... I've inspected it thoroughly, no signs of existing extra damages. Otherwise, super clean overall.

Anywho, paid $11.5k for it. Do you guys think it was a good deal?

I've had my 08 1500 QC 6'4 4wd for 5yrs, has 175k mi. Have been through and replaced almost everything, within reason, over that time. Has modest underbody rust, dents, dings etc. But has been very trusy..

Recently scored a deal on a 17 1500 CC 6'4, 4wd 64k mi. Is so much nicer overall. Prefer color, rides nicer, better shape, low miles etc etc.

However, has some setbacks. It's longer, which I don't need, do not like the 8pd tranny/constant shifting/dial, payload is low, and just doesn't feel as much like a "Truck", as the 3rd gen.

Am I just used to the old rig? Do others feel this way?

I'm considering maybe flipping it, making a few bucks and putting it into the old Ram..

Opinions on anything appreciate, thanks...
