Is this internalized transphobia?

Hi! So I've been questioning my gender identity for around 2 years now, and as of a few months ago I think I've finally come to the conclusion that I'm a trans woman or some kind of transfem. I like being called she, I definitely experience gender envy and social dysphoria, not as much physical dysphoria but it's still there, and I think I'd be happier born a girl. You know, the usual.

I want to transition, but I'm afraid of being ugly. Whenever I see trans women online who pass very well I can't help but to feel like I'm looking at something unattainable, and if I transition I'm going to be an ugly mess. It also doesn't help that I have some features that aren't considered feminine. I have a prominent brow ridge, large eye brows, large lips, a large nose, sharp facial features, and a slender physique. My face is very exaggerated i guess? Slim and angular with large features, not really something that is very feminine.

I know it's never really too late, but I'm almost 18, and I probably won't be able to transition properly for a few years. Half of my youth is already behind me, it really feels too late.

Really, I'm just worried about having some internalized issues.

Nobody around me respects my partners identity and it's pissing me off.

So my gorgeous partner is non-binary and we've been together for about 10 months now, we've had no issues. The only person who seems to have issues is my mother. At first she tried to sabotage our relationship, telling me that one day my heart is going to be broken and that I might as well just leave now. She would act supportive but it was all very backhanded. Thankfully that stopped, but the misgendering never did, and I know she's doing it on purpose because sometimes she will emphasize the pronouns when she does.

Now, my partner doesnt necessarily dress or appear very androgynous, which is completely fine. I understand getting the pronouns and stuff mixed around a few times, but this has been ongoing for 10 months now. There is no excuse. It's been bothering both me and them, but neither of us know what to do. My mother is very transmedicalist, very stubborn, and very rude.

Edit: I came here because I heard this was a very lgbtq friendly place, and obviously me and my partner are queer

What songs would you have wanted glass beach to cover?

Title.

I think the band could've nailed The End. by MCR in the style of plastic death. The I'm Not Okay (I Promise) cover from way back would've been amazing too. Na Na Na would be fantastic from glass beach....

I think in general the band would be great with more MCR covers.

got bored and made a mockup playlist for lp3

It's a little short because it was super hard to find extra demos that somewhat fit in. There's 7 confirmed lp3 songs, 4 of which are in IFTD.

The art is from Daxe's website. Please show your support to our favorite gleach artist and buy it here!: https://shop.daxe.art/product/glow-in-the-dark-precambrian-creatures

Explanation on each track below ⬇️

beat - live demo: Confirmed lp3 song, was debuted live.

the same: Confirmed lp3 song. Was debuted on j's solo album 'it's fine to dream'

look: Confirmed lp3 song. Was also debuted on j's solo album 'it's fine to dream'

industry: Confirmed lp3 song. Was also also debuted on j's solo album 'it's fine to dream'

parallel - live demo: Confirmed lp3 song, debuted live. The real name of the song is unknown, but its placeholder name on the setlist was 'f.m. ????????????'. I chose the name parallel because the lyrics heavily focus around mirrors and directly mention the word parallel

(starless seas......): Not confirmed. It's a random plastic death demo that I thought would fit in well to break the constant action from the last few songs. I added a distortion effect to the last second of the song to smoothly transition into body without organs. The original name was 'big piano interlude'. The name of the song is a King Crimson reference.

body without organs: Not confirmed. I just thought it would be a good parallel (get it) to industry. It's the same digital feeling song but a lot more hectic. This song was originally for plastic death but was cut for obvious reasons.

anthropocene: Not confirmed. It flows out of body without organs well and somewhat sounds like it could fit in. This is my least favorite pick if i'm going to be honest, it's a good song but not one I would have put in this hypothetical album if I had more choices.

table salt - live demo: Confirmed lp3 song. It was debuted live.

10 rows of teeth: Confirmed lp3 song. Was also also also debuted on j's solo album 'it's fine to dream'.

she won't wake until she's dead - rough demo: Not confirmed. It's one of the classic j dies and goes to hell part 3 demos and a dallas demo. It's probably one of the more fitting choices. I chose it because it has that same grand finale type vibe that commatose has. If this song were made by modern glass beach I could absolutely see it on lp3. The original name was 'part three 02'. I changed it to this because it has the same melody from the 'classic j dies and goes to hell part 2' demos, which has the lyrics "I don't want to wake up 'til I'm dead."

(we came in, isn't this where?): Not confirmed. Again it is a plastic death demo that I sounded good for an outro track. This isn't a true outro track, rather it's just a regular interlude. This is because i thought it'd be cool if the album was meant to be looped, like Pink Floyd's "The Wall." The name itself isn't related to the album in any way other than that, but the looping would be cool since a lot of songs in this album have themes of mirrors and cycles. Waking up every day just for it to be the same cycle in the system built to grind you down surrounded by people who fetishize and hurt trans people. The album is a cycle, just like real life.

And for the album name,

tantalizing thoughts of my form and soul: It's pretty obvious given the context of the songs. The name is taken from body without organs, which contains the lyrics "destroy this tantalizing structure!" and "violate the form of inner structure!" I'm sure you can tell that body without organs is a very very very trans song.

Something being tantalizing means that what you want is just out of your reach and it is tormenting you. In the case of the album, that would be freedom from the system and freedom over your own body. For your soul to be free, to destroy your tantalizing structure, violate your form. They said they loved you till you stepped out of line, and your insides are stuck in a cyclical pattern but you can't get out.

In simple terms , the thought of living in the form i truly want to is torturous, because I will never achieve it.

The playlist should fix itself after you download the songs to your local files.

This game made me trans.

So after years of hearing how good it was and sitting on my wishlist, i finally picked up this game and went in almost completely blind... And im a guy (or at least i was). I made my V a woman because i wanted to make her look somewhat like my partner. Accidentally made her look a little like me.

Everything was going well and i didn't notice anything wrong until i got to the part where you play as johnny. I felt super uncomfortable being referred to with masculine language after playing for about 13 or so hours being referred to with feminine language. It felt weird and wrong for the sudden switch up. After that, going back to being V felt super euphoric, like butterflies in your stomach when you have a crush on someone. But it wasn't romantic, it was a feeling of belonging? After all that i went back to my apartment and looked in the mirror. It felt so comforting for some reason. I had already been suspicious that i might be trans but this game brought it down harder than silverhand brought down arasaka for me lol.

TLDR: Keanu Reaves made me transgender.

Edit: No this isn't a joke post😭 I'm serious
