So I've ended up with both the old paperback & new hardcover of Between Two Fires. I've heard the new hardcover has a chapter missing & some content changed. Is this hardcover the "definitive" version or is the previous one preferred? Or is there no real difference & the content is incorporated elsewhere?
I'm near the end of Book 1 & loving it so far. But realising there's 8 books (and counting) does the formula not get repetitive? I must admit I struggle to see 8 books of material

I've read a good chunk of Murakami over the past few years & I really haven't found myself enjoying much of his early work
The Rat Trilogy, Hard Boiled Wonderland even Norwegian Wood were lacking for me
It's only really Wind Up Bird onwards that I've loved

I'm sorry but I find his relationship with Yuki borderline creepy. The constant references to how "beautiful" she is, calling her the "prettiest girl he's ever dated". I've heard later on he even says he wants to be remembered as her boyfriend. I just find if really odd
Is this just a poor translation? Does the Japanese have a less flirty/romantic tone to it?

Recently upgraded to WiFi 7 & 2G speed. I purchased the BE25 since it fit into budget but it only has a 1G ethernet port.
Just saw the BE26 on the website with 2.5G port so was wondering if it was worth returning and waiting for the BE26
Just wondering in terms of video/audio quality is anything lost? I always assumed it would be better since it's native to the tv but I've heard some say they prefer android regardless
