A C-47 escorted by a P-51 (circa 1947)

Haven’t drawn anything in a long time so excuse me for the wonky proportions and horrible shading. It’s the first time I have drawn warplanes with reference and I had a lot of fun while drawing. Any tips or opinions are welcome.

p.s. I originally wanted to make this a D-day minus 1 scene, but I screwed up the roundel so just treat this as a random post-war air transport instead.

Top four of someone who has always loved movies but want to get “deeper” into the hobby, any recommendations is welcome.

Really want some recommendations for released or upcoming films from any genre or time period. For a bit more information, I have also really enjoyed films from Denis Villeneuve, Wes Anderson, the Miller Brothers, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino.

Curly pasta with korean rose sauce and smoked duck

The duck was delightfully seasoned, loved the mouthfeel of the thicker pasta, and the sauce had a good spicy kick. Definitely on the pricier side though.

Sticky Toffee Pudding (the second picture doesn’t look good but I swear it tastes amazing)

Homemade Mac and Cheese with Rib-eye

As a Non-American, I never had any Mac and Cheese growing up, but I fell in love with it after trying it for the first time in the UK.

I tried my hand at making it from scratch (with sliced cheddar meant for sandwiches) a few weeks back, and it came as a pleasant surprise that Mac and Cheese is really easy to make and the result was pretty good. I thought it would go well with some meat so made some along with some steak for my birthday, and it was glorious.

[homemade] Mac and Cheese with Ribeye Steak

p.s. I have some leftover Mac and Cheese, do you Americans make anything special with it or do you just reheat it?
