I want to do a semi glossy tan desert finish on this piece but I am worried about the coating affecting the function of my pistol. Has anyone else had any luck or experience with cerakote on their CZs? Any recommendations of companies that do a good job?
It may be a bit old school but during the hot months I tend to carry this one as my main and backup car EDC. I have had it for years and haven't had a single malfunction or jam. It is super tough and reliable still.

This is my first Smith & Wesson and I'm excited to take it as my sidearm for my hunt in November.
I got the LE version with the suppressor height Tritium sights and aluminium flat trigger and I added a Griffin Armament threaded barrel with a micro comp and a Vortex Enclosed Solar Defender ST optic. It shoots like a dream.
I thought I only needed 1 when i started but look where I am now lol.
I carry one of these two pretty much every day now.
It is a bit hot to carry a full metal frame EDC in summer but the rest of the year it is a dream. I'm thinking about sending it to CGW for a trigger kit upgrade but for now I'm still enjoying it from the factory.
This is definitely my favorite handgun I've ever owned. The Shadow 2 shoots like a dream and the trigger is amazing.
