Wig review after a month of wear 💖

I have been wearing this wig for just over a month and decided to give it a full review! 😊

The hair quality is great, the hair is soft and the golden highlights have such a beautiful shine to them in the sunlight but without looking synthetic. Shedding was minimal but I didn't brush it much or do very complicated styles. I was able to wear it in several different styles which is probably my favourite thing about this unit. It was super versatile and fit both a western style and a more douyin/kpop style of makeup.

The hair density was great! At 200% density the hair was full, with body to it without feeling too heavy.

The wig was comfortable and I LOVE that it came with a drawstring in the back. I've never worn a wig that felt this secure but also comfortable at the same time. I wore it for hours whilst on vacation and never once felt like it was uncomfortable at all. Lightweight and breathable even in 42 °C+ heat.

The lace was thin and of good quality that took well to tinting. However I did have to trim it a little as there was slightly too much of it out of the box. I wore the wig glueless but I think it would look even more realistic and seamless with some lace melting and subtle baby hairs in the front.

Final thoughts: Overall it was a great wig that I enjoyed wearing over summer. It's a good choice if you want something versatile but also glamorous and eye-catching. Would recommend! 🩷

Does this makeup style suit me?

Does this dolly/kpop inspired makeup look suit my features or should I do more western makeup? Any tips to improve my makeup would be much appreciated 🙏🏽🩷

I love how these curls turned out

I styled this ombre wig with a curling iron with a bit of leave in conditioner and heat protectant spray. I brushed them out and added a little bit of argan oil. I love the way they turned out! 🥰 They've lasted about a week with daily wear. Soo pretty!

Should I get curtain bangs?

I currently have highlights and want to return to black hair soon. I'm leaning towards curtain bangs but I'm not sure what to pick 😭 Which style would suit my features best?

First time wearing leopard print 🤎

I usually stick to solid colours like black, pink and red but decided to try out leopard print. I quite like it and regret not trying it out sooner!

Do highlights suit me?

I've stuck to black hair for such a long time but recently I tried out an ombre style for summer. Can I pull this style off? I just never thought I had the soft features to pull off lighter colours and that I need black hair to balance out my facial features.I like to wear red and pink lip colours and don't want things to look too visually 'busy' if that makes sense?

Which hairstyle suits me the best?

I usually just leave my hair out loose but recently I've been trying out different styles. Which style suits me the best? I can't decide 😭

My simple routine for keeping wigs frizz-free

I've been trying to be a lot more intentional about how I care for my wigs and I've been loving how smooth and silky this wig has been looking lately! First I gently brush through the hair to detangle it from roots to the ends, then I apply a little bit of John Frieda Frizz-Ease Leave in Conditioner and a tiny bit of Argan Oil. I also try not to overbrush or manipulate it too much between wears which seems to help keep it smooth and soft.

I've been wearing it with a headband whilst on vacation for an easy and comfortable look and this routine seems to hold up well even in the hot summer heat. How do you care for your human hair wigs?

This makeup makes me feel like a doll 🥰

Leaning into my naturally big, rounded eyes was the best decision I ever made. Douyin/dolly makeup is so much fun 😊

My new brown ombré wig with my go-to dolly makeup look 🩷

I’ve loved soft dolly makeup ever since I first tried it. Something about wispy manga lashes, glitter and sparkle, rosy blush, glossy lips just feels so pretty to me!! Recently, I found a new hairstyle that matches this vibe so well.

I have really big eyes with a lot of scleral show and following conventional makeup looks didn't work for me so I leant into it and did more douyin/dolly makeup and it became my favourite! Does this style work for me or does it make me look too uncanny? 😭 Pictures are taken using a ring light

Brown hair has grown on me, I fear I've been converted 😭😭🤎

I've always stuck to black hair but idk, brown hair is really hitting for me this summer, the way it catches the light ☺️ For the longest time I didn't think it would suit me at all, so glad I gave it a try! 🤎

My new fav!

I usually don't post but this wig from Luvme hair is amazing! The texture is light yaki which is perfect and looks natural. The lace and hairline is beautifully done. I'm not very skilled at installing wigs so I literally just wear a wig cap and put the wig on without doing anything else but it still looks SO good, it's so forgiving. It's now my favourite wig to wear, if you are looking for a natural, high quality wig that is easy and comfortable to wear you should check them out!
