Why do I pay monthly for clynxx?

Why do you have to pay £5 a month for clynxx when you only use it every 3 months?

Also, I’m planning to get a paper prescription next time because clynxx overcharges (£350 for 5 bottles of testogel!), but why is it £12 per month when I don’t access a paper prescription monthly?

I feel like I’m being taken advantage of because I’m desperate and can only get T safely through genderGP at the moment.

I don’t know if this counts as asking for advice, more just a vent but any advice is appreciated.

What am I supposed to do if I have a UTI? (Possible Trigger?)

I’m a trans guy and I’m pretty sure I have a UTI, I won’t go through the symptoms because I’ve already used the NHS inform symptom checker which told me to go to a pharmacy. I haven’t had one since I was like 6 so I have no idea what to do and I have a few questions:

I’m nearly 10 months on T and I recently got an STP which I’ve been trying to figure out, does either affect anything?

Can it go away on its own? I don’t want to go to a pharmacy and out myself to get antibiotics and what if they think I’m a male and try to get me to go to my GP?

If I have to go to a pharmacy, what is the process like to get it? Do I just walk in and ask for antibiotics?

I know this isn’t the best place to get advice, but I’m really freaking out so any help is appreciated.

Getting a job in the current political climate

Hi, I’m a trans man looking for a job. I’ve been applying since last year and only had 2 interviews both unsuccessful. I don’t know if this is the right sub for this but I think being trans has had an impact on my job hunt.

My dad is adamant that going to a job centre is the best way to get a job. Apparently when he was my age he went in a one day and walked out with a job. Has anyone had success with this recently?

I am realising that there may be some additional barriers to getting a job since in trans and despite “legal protections” discrimination still exists. How easy is it to pretend to be cis? Either as a guy or I may consider pretending to be a cis girl and “coming out” later.

Also will I have to use the women’s toilet at work?

I live in Scotland if that affects anything.

Forgot to do my T gel

Hi, I’ve been on Testogel for 9 months now and I need to get a blood test really soon. I forgot to do my Tgel today, I don’t feel any different but I’ve never forgotten before and I’m worried it’ll screw up my blood test. Can missing a mess up a blood test?

Hi all, I’m looking for advice on binders. Warning for brief mentioning of dysphoria.

I’m starting university in September and I plan on going stealth. I have most things planned out, I have a packer and STP and I’ve started T so I pass pretty well. But currently I only have one really old binder that barely works, I’ll probably be wearing a bag a lot of the time which makes me feel dysphoric about my chest.

How many binders do I need if I bind every day unless I’m taping or wearing something really baggy?

Also where is best to get them? I’m in the UK and want to be comfortable during the day. (I will bind safely etc. but I struggle with seams touching me)

I can’t wait to get out of high school and have nobody know my deadname, but I’m stressing that people will find out in trans and I can’t deal with that.
