The ideal PF

Offensive: able to operate in the dunker spot while also hitting corner 3s.

Defensive: capable perimeter defender and effective help defender in the paint.

Physical profile: >6'8, >200 lbs.

Other than AG, which players actually fit all of these criteria?

New fan here! Bucks is the only East team I support

Honestly, I mostly followed Jenkins here. His coaching with the Grizzlies left a really strong impression on me. He emphasized a fast-paced style with quick ball movement and transition offense, while also demanding physical defense. He was also willing to give young players room to make mistakes and grow.

When I saw the Bucks hire him, my first thought was that the team was heading toward a rebuild direction, and a young roster fits his coaching style really well. His in-game adjustments aren’t well, but for a rebuilding team that’s not the biggest concern right now.

He’s great at communication, treats players with respect, and makes sure everyone understands what they’re supposed to do on the court. He also puts a huge emphasis on building team culture.

That’s why I’m really excited to see how the Bucks develop under him moving forward.

Team needs to get younger and healthier

Since Jokic is still a top-3 player, building around him through a retool instead of a full rebuild feels pretty obvious. Most of the recent rising contenders have gotten younger, and having players on rookie contracts gives teams way more financial flexibility to improve depth. It also helps avoid overworking the starters and running them into injuries.

Outside of Jokic, which players do you think should stay next season?

My list:Murray, CB, Watson, Strawther, Holmes.

FO can buy draft picks with cash

The Nuggets are currently 15.8M below the 2nd Apron this season, which means they can spend up to 7.9M in cash without triggering a hard cap. Considering the team needs to get younger, they could realistically buy a pick in the 31–35 range on draft night, or even buy two picks in the 36–45 range.

Teams with 3+ picks:

BKN #6, #33, #43
CHI #4, #15, #38, #56
DAL #9, #30, #48
LAC #5, #36, #52
MEM #3, #16, #32
NYK #24, #31, #55
OKC #12, #17, #37
SAC #7, #34, #45
SAS #20, #35, #42, #44
WAS #1, #51, #60

I mean, if the FO managed to turn Saric into Jonas last year, I have to believe they should be able to pull off something similar with Nnaji too, right?

Or do we just make him change his jumper back to the old form and pray the three-point shot becomes salvageable again?

Fire a bunch of people and act like they’re the ones responsible for this mess?

If that’s not what he thinks, then what the hell is the point of all this?

Whoever gets through is facing OKC next. Which team do you guys think has a better shot at actually making OKC work for it — at least pushing it to G6?

The longer that series drags on, the better it is for us… assuming we take care of DEN or MIN first.
