Purchased a used ef 70-200 mm f2.8 for sports photography and now I’m looking for a second lens that I can utilize has a universal lens. Portraits, close up shots for sports mostly, anything else. I was looking at the 28-70 mm f2.8 ef lens (I know about the crop sensor) and was going settle on that but maybe there may be more suggestions so I can look into that. For reference I have a canon r50

I am a beginner looking to get something mostly for soccer outdoor knowing they I’d probably what I’d shoot the most in college. As for budget, it’s under 300 for the used market but I just something to use until I can save for a more better lens and get more comfortable shooting. I still might need to get an adapter even if I can find a decent price for the rf 70-300 mm. But so far I’ve seen that the ef might be better. Currently have kit lens 18-45 mm for the canon r50

Obviously tariffs have raised the prices for cameras but the prices of the r50 even for the body alone that I’ve been seeing? If I save up a couple more hundreds I might as well just get an r10 since the final prices come around to near that line. I’ve just been wanting to find at least one that’s within the 500 range because I’d be a beginner but it seems that those prices are reserved for the r100 which I’ve heard is terrible.

So I’ve been a bit confused on payday and stuff. I’ve seen stuff about the first paycheck being an actual check that you have to go pick up but when I asked my trainer yesterday, she seemed lost or confused on how to get it. Did she not receive her first paycheck through a physical check or did it immediately go straight to direct deposit after it being set up for about two weeks now?
