Mennyi időt csücsül a vámon a csomag?

Recovery after overuse injury

I'm a fairly beginner cyclist and managed to get my first injury and not sure how to proceed. Not new to cycling per se, as it has been a hobby of mine since childhood, but previously I was a pretty casual rider. Roughly a year ago I started to get more serious, as I moved back to my childhood town, which is one of the best cycling places in my country.

Before everyone starts to instantly send me on a bikefit, I had a pretty okay fit. Probably not 100%, but I was able to ride 3-5 hours without any problem.

This year I decided to participate in an event, which was 206kms. I haven't been on a ride this long, but the elevation gain was pretty low so I decided to give it a try.

Naturally, I was really tired after a while (around 100-120kms in), and most likely made a bad move while out of the saddle during a climb. My left knee started to hurt in one point during the downstroke. I stopped to rest for a while, and tried to continue. It was a flat part now, and I was okay but on the next climb the pain came back instantly. Eventually I needed to cut it short as the pain didn't go away, so only went 160kms.

I didn't have any pain off the bike, could walk or do squats no problem. There was no pain anywhere if I touched my knee, no swelling or anything. I decided to rest for a while of course, give it 1-2 weeks and see how it goes.

It has been 12 days now and I tried to go on a short ride. It was fine at first, but after 4-5kms I started to feel the pain. It was of course much more mild, but still enough to keep me off the bike.

I'm pretty sure many of you experienced similar injury, so I'd like to get some advice. Should I just wait it out and try again in 1-2 weeks? What is the point when I should start worry? Do I need to see a doctor or physical therapist? How long should it take such injury to heal?

Experience with using 2 sets of wheels?

I hear this a lot of times: just buy 2 wheel sets, and you have a road and gravel bike in one.

I recently bought a gravel bike, and been loving it so far. However, with the off-road tires it is not really fast on paved roads. I also have a somewhat dated road bike, with narrow tire clearance. I don't want a newer road bike, as they are pretty expensive, I also don't want to upgrade the old one as it is using outdated tech and just doesn't make any sense financially.

I was thinking of buying a semi slick tire (like Schwalbe g one rs pro), but the off-road parts in my area are pretty rough, and I need more knobby tires. I was thinking about selling my old road bike and buying a new set of wheels with slicks, for paved-only rides.

I'm curious about others who've gone this way. Was it worth it? Isn't too much of a hassle? I'm a bit afraid that I need to adjust disk brakes every time I switch wheels. Hell, sometimes putting back the exact same wheel makes the disks rub a little... Not to mention the derailleur might need some slight change as well. Seems like a bit too much fuss to be honest.

I've been tweaking my fit for a long while, and I think I found a comfortable position. I can do 3-4 hour rides without problems. However, I have one thing bugging me. My right knee (dominant side) feels a bit more strained after longer rides. It doesn't hurt, I can do everything fine and it doesn't block me from riding. It only appears post ride, no issues while riding. I'm afraid later on it might cause issues so I'd like to fix it. Any suggestions on what I should tweak further?
