>As we roll out the release of our first collection of songs, I find it imperative to go into a little bit of the long and needed history it’s taken to get to this point.
>There's value in patience, and to be honest, 5 years ago when we started linking in person I thought I had enough of it - but I didn't know yet that there was still much maturing to do. By the end of 2020 we had what I thought was a full iteration of an album, but the bond and fully seeing through the vision still lacked, a wisdom I learned from Mahershala over the years and still do to this day.
>On this day I brought Nicky with me to my second session with Mahershala at Adrian Younge’s studio, a place where we were exploring what had already made, theorizing on this project and taking a stab at new recordings. I was about 3 months into my move in LA, a move that was influenced by this music's creation, and I had just found out that my wife and I were pregnant with our first child.
>Even with all the uncertainty, I knew we had something incredibly special, unique and an accurate depiction of our merged tastes. We first started playing around with the idea of making and releasing music together since 2020, so needless to say, I'm ecstatic to be here today writing to you all.

Multiple variants available, including picture disc + cobalt blue both with OBI, neon coral and standard black. Instrumental version also available!
Coloured variant and signed test pressings “almost gone” as of posting this! Standard black readily available
Taken from Get On Down’s Instagram story earlier today… hoping this is the complete 17-track album which has never been fully pressed on wax (all vinyl pressings so far have omitted a few tracks)
Announced by Canadian retailer Erie Records, the self-produced and unmastered album by Blu is to finally be released on vinyl next Friday! Split cream / blue variant limited to 100 copies, standard black will be available after the coloured variant sells out.
Erie responded under a comment about the audio quality, saying they worked with their in-house engineer to enhance the quality for a “true vinyl experience”. So prayers this will be an even better experience than what Blu fans had already got from the original leak/release!
Release date: August 19, 2026
Victoria Monét did a little meet-and-greet/signing at Selfridges London today during her time here for Bruno Mars’ The Romantic Tour. Finally had the opportunity to get my JAGUAR vinyl signed!
She tried to write my name in a silver marker on my JAGUAR I copy, not realising it was glittery, wet and not really permanent (took 10-15 mins to dry as well), but she switched to the black permanent markers which worked out better! Jaguar II was thankfully a simple permanent signing on her hair, would’ve been so much better if she had better white/silver markers, but I can’t complain🔥❤️
Tracklist yet to be revealed.
One of my favourite albums to drop this year / Joe James - The Ends, Never Ends and a sealed single from MED! Got the Joe James vinyl signed too (some little ass writing lowkey lol), excited to give both of there a spin🔥🔥
