I Remeber when this album dropped. Don’t say was first single , they don’t know and are you still down to follow and that’s when I had to have it. Hearing a posthumous 2Pac made me mad that I didn’t get it the first day it came out.
I was able to get EV3 and Trip for retail well after RSD. So grateful for reputable record shop owners! Can't wait to spin all of these
Never thought I’d have this in my collection seeing as it goes for $600-$700 on eBay and Discogs but I found it for way less and in NM condition! Still can’t believe I’m holding this album 😭
Came across a FB market post while on my lunch break. They were close by so we met up and man, this guy has a treasure trove of records and all in NM condition from what I can tell. Had to be responsible so I only walked away with this one for today. Can't believe I got this baby NM condition for $10! Will definitely be doing business with buddy again, especially since he's around the corner from my big bro.
It still hurts that classic Jagged Edge albums like “J.E. Heartbreak” and “A Jagged Era” never got proper vinyl releases. Two of the most iconic R&B albums of that era and somehow still missing on vinyl.
But honestly, shoutout to the promo vinyl samplers they released back then. No full tracklist, no cover art… but they’re basically the only way we can still enjoy parts of these records on vinyl today.
I recently got the “J.E. Heartbreak” sampler and believe me when I say the sound quality is amazing. Super affordable too compared to the crazy prices vinyl goes for today.
Feel like these sampler editions never really get talked about and deserve way more appreciation from collectors and R&B fans.

I’m sick and tired of impatient dummies buying scalped, secondhand copies of rnb titles, instead of fucking waiting for an affordable copy to come along. This title hasn’t exceeded $30-40 for years and copies come along every couple of months…but now because some dumbass couldn’t wait, the price floor has now been reset to $75+…which just signals to all the scalping parasites that buy up rnb titles that they can get away with listing at 5x MSRP and dummies will buy them.
Weirdly, I can't find a match for this pressing of Fulfillingness' to save my life. The sleeve, spine, label and runouts don't match any of the US or even foreign listings. OCD aside, glad to have a vintage copy of it!
